Degale v Bute
Re: Degale v Bute
This pace is way way too fast for Bute. He will fade. Matter of time.
Re: Degale v Bute
Closer 2nd, Bute is in the fight.

Nice brisk fight. Bute looking good so far but will be tough for a 35 year old to keep this pace up.
By the way, Degales sister is well hot.

Re: Degale v Bute
This is a great fight. Bute isn't shot. I just don't see him keeping up with the younger guy.
Re: Degale v Bute
best bute fight since many year, he is actually throwing !
Re: Degale v Bute
Better from DeGale in the 3rd, he's switching orthodox to southpaw quite frequently.
Re: Degale v Bute
Bute looks like he may be on the good stuff if ya know what I mean. He looks years younger. DeGale is winning but curious to see these cards so far.
Re: Degale v Bute
Looked like DeGale took the 4th too, Bute starting to look a bit bewildered.
Re: Degale v Bute
Something tells me if this close fight continues we will see Froch emboldened to come out of retirement to fight DeGale.

Re: Degale v Bute
Bute needs to throw more body shots , good 4 th round by Bute
Re: Degale v Bute
Bute fancies it now, come on James don't blow it!
Re: Degale v Bute
Bewildered ? 4th round was Bute's best round.Evander wrote:Looked like DeGale took the 4th too, Bute starting to look a bit bewildered.
Re: Degale v Bute
These rounds are too close for DeGale's liking. He needs to start winning rounds more convincingly.
Re: Degale v Bute
That thought is sadly always on my mind these days but maybe the break did Bute good.diddy wrote:Bute looks like he may be on the good stuff if ya know what I mean. He looks years younger. DeGale is winning but curious to see these cards so far.
Re: Degale v Bute
3-2 degale for me, bute confidence is going up
Re: Degale v Bute
Bute upped the ante in the 5th and looked to have won it.
I don't think Bute won the 4th.

Re: Degale v Bute
That cut could be a real problem. Terrible spot.
Bute looks literally 8 yrs younger. He hasn't looked this fresh in years. At 35 that makes no sense.

4-2 degale
Bute physical was never his problem ... mental was

Re: Degale v Bute
Closer round, I thought DeGale scored quite big with some of the hooks that landed right on the button.
This fight is still up for grabs.

Re: Degale v Bute
Bute got his swagger back after the Pascal fight. Everyone looks at the result and forgets what the end of that fight looked like. He beat a bum in classic Bute style earlier this year as a followup. He's not winning this fight, but he's gonna get himself another payday.
