No. Froch has recently said he has no interest in making a comeback and reckons he cannot make the SMW limit anymore even if he wanted to. He said he currently weighs 13.7 stone with only 8% body fat so would have to fight ay LHW.

Froch says that there is no way he could make 168, but he could do 172. If Golovkin accepts 172, there are good chances that both Froch and Hearn will be more confident than at 168 and accept it too.

He's just making noise like other fighters that retire do. He's just making sure that he's just out of reach for GGG. I mean he's only a MW so Carl is on safe ground by saying he can't make 168 but he'd stretch to 172. So in effect jump 2 'nearly' weight divisions and then it's on, sounds like complete balls to me.

On a side note when he was commentating prior to the Fury fight, he still feels the need to flare up. He was standing head on with his arms wide out like a comedy Scouser, alright calm down, calm down, dey do doh don't dey dough

Where is the "Who Gives a Shiit" option? I bet that would win in a landslide.

Here is a video where Froch is saying that he basically can't safely make 168 and suggests 172:

Maybe he should fight another retired fighter, Ward ?

 He's taking the piss so badly in that video it's unreal. That's Froch on a wind up and all I got from that is that he has no plans for coming back at all but is just throwing jokey references to the idea out there for fun. People stick a camera in his face and he had fun with it. It was just funny! Seriously you can't see that?!

I can't say if he will or not, but I hope he doesn't.

He'd be too old & slow for Degale now.

In his pomp, he beats Degale, although he would have had to work for it, but after a couple of years out & pushing 40, he'd have no chance against Chunky, especially as Degale is in his peak right now.

I think he will but more likely for GGG. Froch has a huge ego and feels the need to prove himself again and be centre stage. Unfortunately I fear the ego will overcome the brain as he really should stay retired.
