How was it worse than Wlad v Povetkin?
Or Haye v Valuev! Now that was awful!

Strange fight. Can't remember anyone trowing and landing a clean punch. WK didn't do anything but shadow box. But shadow boxing with out punching lol. Both looked awkward. Crap fight. shocking.

But Fury did win and rightly so, did more work or better shadow boxing!

It may not have been the most exciting heavyweight world title fight, but fury boxed to a game plan and that's what won him the fight. He did not allow WK to fight the way he wanted to therefore it was a very good game plan which won fury the title, Well done to furys camp for coming up with the game plan and well done to fury for sticking to it. The one thing you can be 100% sure of is winning the world title will make fury a much more confident fighter and will improve so much for winning the world title.I am sure will will see him in some good tears up now as the game plan for last nights fight will not be needed again as there are not to many HW out down who fight like WK . Well done Tyson .

Agree that it was a strange fight. I was wondering if Klitschko was carrying an injury as he just didn't even attempt to throw the right hand all night. But it seems he either couldn't pull the trigger or was too afraid to throw it without setting himself for fear of getting countered.

Either way, Fury beat what was in front of him & deserves credit. I certainly didn't think he had it in him. It was a very disappointing fight & yet another poor showcase for the heavyweight division, but Wlad's tedious reign is finally over so be thankful for small mercies.

He proberly knows hes only domestic level but hes in a fortunate position that the division is full of garbage. 20 years ago Fury would have not got past the the Area Title, and thats a bloody fact.

He's garbage in terms of yesteryear. The only reason folk are paying attention is because hes using foul language and talks a good fight. This fight is meaningless. So what if he beats Chisora
mimmy123 wrote:Tyson fury isnt that good hes got no chin! He's ok as far as domestic boxers go and will be chinned when he moves up. Chisora and Haye would both beat him. Fury has looked good recently because he's fought no one, the last guy was a stiff and made Fury look like a world champion. I'm not slagging the guy hope he does well but as soon as he makes the next level he will be found out.

I dont mind opinions from other people or debates about who what and how but trolling through somesones posts to locate bits of previous comments takes the biscuit. Just because one does not agree with another doesnt really warrent this kind of trolling.

Wlad beat himself. For some reason he was shitting himself all night. By the time he tried to have a go late in the 11th and in the 12th it was too late.
Maybe he didn't feel comfortable punching upwards? Maybe he can't win without leaning down on people? Maybe Tyson got inside his head? Maybe the disruption of the gloves, foam and hand wrapping unsettled him?

You cannot take away the fact that Tyson Fury won and did so deservedly. But neither boxer boxed well. Neither threw any meaningful punches.

I agree with previous posters. I cannot see Fury holding on to the belts for long. I would not be surprised if Wlad took the rematch and boxes the way he did in the 12th from the 1st and regains the belts.

I'm glad Tyson won. Good on him. But still more questions than answers for me.

You are either a fool or a liar when it comes to Fury. Did you not read your quotes that I posted? Do you stand by that nonsense?
mimmy123 wrote:I have opinions like everyone else. Im quite a laid back person who repects everyones views.
Unfortunately I cannot respect your views on this subject as they are ridiculous.

You have lost the right to be respected when discussing Tyson Fury.

I think you should have a good, hard think about your posts on this subject and strongly consider changing your ways.
