Fury's fighting spirit is way overrated. People talk about Haye as if he's some fancy Dan, super-slickster, who doesn't like a tear-up. But he's been in more wars than Fury.

If he moves his head and feet like he did last night he's not.

He certainly won't be any better at 35 and Fury is only going to improve, you may not like Fury's style but it's effective, Tyson isn't losing to Haye not now.
I don't think Fury would freeze him out. Haye needs to prove himself first. Needs to beat a couple of genuine contenders. Do that in style and Fury will fight him if he is still the champ. Fury will see the big dough on offer and beating Wlad, possibly twice by then, will have his confidence sky high.
I suspect Haye is lining himself up to fight Joshua rather than Fury - This comeback of his stinks of nothing more than one big ppv payday against Joshua.
Firstly, I like David Haye and have watched all of his fights. But taking a step back, I cannot put him as a favourite against Tyson Fury anymore after the weekend. An un-motivated Fury against Cunningham is nothing like a motivated Fury against Klitschko.
After giving it some thought, here are some facts to throw in the mix to offer another perspective to it.
He's fought just 3 times in the last 5 years:
Audley Harrison - a non-fight
Wladimir Klitschko - a loss
Derek Chisora - Not bad at the time, but seemed shot lately
Infact Haye has only boxed 6 times full stop since Enzo Macc in 2008.
1. 3 years of ring inactivity
2. No longer trained by Adam Booth
3. Shoulder reconstruction
4. Aged 29 against Valuev.. now 35
5. Relies on speed and movement - which are the first things to fade in a fighter.
If we think that Haye boxed the same summer as Froch vs Bute, and all the fights Carl had since then and even Carl has been retired long enough for people to regard his return as a big risk, then that cements how long it's been.
In closing, it would be great if he came back fully-motivated and completely reborn from the inactivity. He'd make a truly welcome and interesting addition back to heavyweight boxing - and as a fan that would be great.
But history has often showed that even just changing trainers can have detrimental effects, let alone inactivity, surgery etc and getting older.
I think if Haye is 80 per cent of what he was he will beat Fury though.
Fury must be relishing the chance to call the shots here after what happened. He should approach Haye with a lowball 'take it or leave it' offer and have a clause saying David has to pay him if Haye pulls out.

I'm torn on this one. Haye is an exciting addition to the heavyweight picture, no doubt. But he's also an arrogant, human cockroach with nothing but contempt for the fans.
Having lost money by arranging going to Fury v Haye only for the latter to pull out I wouldn't begrudge Tyson refusing to give him a payday. That said if Fury is going to open up at 10/11 in the betting I 100% want him to box Haye next!
