Last predictions from Oscar was over 2 million. There is a topic about it somewhere on here.
I laughed I thought he was insane.
900,000 Is nothing to be embarrassed by.It is 150,000 more than I expected.

I was just making fun of Oscar because .....well he is a cross dresser and coke head and I enjoy making fun of him whenever I get the chance.
Yes I am an asshole :TU:

There's not many people who could have anticipated that this ppv would do this many buys. Though, it figures to have done well, since Cotto and Alvarez seem to have among the highest drawing power of any active fighters, and it was fairly evenly matched, which is important. I think this silences the ridiculous fears of a few that without Mayweather and Pacquiao, there would never again be a top ppv draw. This win should increase Alvarez's drawing power, future wins should do the same, and I expect he should be able to gradually grow into a 1 million+ draw.

When and if he fights GGG he will pass the torch of PPV king unto him.
