Sorry, I didn't have time to read this whole thread, but I completely agree with you about Haye getting a phony decision win vs. Valuev, tho the Haye-Valuev fight took place in Germany and not Haye's home town, not that locale matters to the mobsters who run boxing. On the other hand, even tho I am a huge fan of the Klitschkos, I thought that Fury won. I am still procrastinating over re-watching the fight (it is still up on Youtube I hope) so I can more calmly and coolly analyze it. Oh, I rewatched that Valuev fight very very carefully and like you say Haye spent the whole night running away, and landing one good punch. If you can get a win by just running away, then, hell, put a featherweight in there with a heavyweight and the featherweight will "win". The boxing mob figured that Haye was more flamboyant and could put more asses in seats, plus they knew that Valuev was actually very ill. He subsequently had multiple operations. Valuev is now in the Russian parliament.crow wrote:I had 4 rds to Wlad (1,4,9 and 12), 5 rds to Fury (2,3,5,7,8) and 2 rds too close to call ( 6 and 10).
The 11 was of course 9-9.
Give both close rds to Wlad ( and he should as a champ get them) and he wins it.
This unanimous decision reeks corruption the same way Haye "won" the title vs Valuev years ago by simply running away the whole night then being rewarded in the champion hometown by an incredible gift decision.
Always happens to be an englishman with of course a lot of home support.
Surely, a coincidence...
Wlad vs Fury = Valuev vs Haye

Fury probably did more than Wlad, but to win by twice 8 rds to 4 and once 9 to 3 scores, that has to be corruption.

that's your opinion, but you are the only one thinking that way,i speak to hardcore boxing fans and the members on here are mostly very knowledgeable and you are the only one crying robbery.

Two very boring fights where there was little action. The winners were challengers from the UK who talked a good game but didn't deliver in terms of excitement, but both deserved the decision if you disregard the lack of action. They both landed more punched than the champions, moved better, had them bemused and flummoxed, stuck rigidly to game plans. They boxed.
What's the issue? That the fights were in Germany so they should have been robbed? The fact that they weren't robbed and received fair judging is evidence of corruption?
Oh my god.

Each round is scored like a three minute fight. 10 point must system. Tyson had a lot more tens than Klitchsko, and won clear. No matter how ugly it was. In truth, that's one of the saddest performances by a "champion" I've ever seen. Made some of Floyd's borefests look like Dempsey-Firpo.
Tyson took Klitschkos negative tactics, used them against him (the only semi-athletic big guy I've seen him in with in a long time), and nobody should feel sorry VK losing his titles when he was too fearful of defending it. I can't name any ATG HW champ that would have hiked the skirt up like that. Shit, 40 year old broken down Holyfield with half a shoulder and 8 brain cells left showed more balls than Vlad.
Thank you Tyson.
