dont rate him. overtrains his fighters and burns them out. not very impressive corner work when things arent going his way.

I agree, would love DeGale to go to someone new but it'll never happen they are like family.

Quite surprised he got mentioned so late I hold him very high in UK he is very very knowledgeable about the game but he at most shows so sees things up close regulary so very experienced he has a very fast growing stable too from what I see.
Jonny Roye is another upcoming coach who hasn't been mentioned again he's regulary at shows and been in several world title fights all ready, he seems to have a growing stable with talent too!!

Lee Beard seems to be doing well. Steve Maylett has done a good job with Terry Flanagan. Danny Vaughan seems to know what he's doing.

Tony Borg. Trains Lee Selby, (and brother Andrew), Gary Buckland, Craig Evans and a shed load of other pros. Looke like Fred Evans is turning over and will be trained by Borg as well.

His son was a very good amateur, think he went off the rails out the ring.

Nah, his son is a top bloke and a good trainer himself. None of his kids have had any issues over and above what normal teenagers go through. Junior is a future trainer of champions. He's worked hard, knows his stuff and learns all the time.

The Jon Pegg comments are spot on too. Done wonders with Sam. Took him on the road for his debut against a fancied home town kid. All of his boxers perform well, whatever their natural level may be. He gets the best out of his lads. Very sound, knowledgeable bloke.

I know Joe Gallagher gets a lot of praise, but he hasn't had a great deal to do because his boxers are already at a high standard when he gets them. Can't knock him for that. I think Jon Pegg is a better coach.

In all seriousness some great young coaches coming through Alex Matvienko,Louie counihan,Micheal Jennings also Carl greaves clifton mitchell and karl ince are underrated coaches in my opinion.

Lol im not even the best coach in our gym there a guy called paul counihan but hes so ugly and his lisp is so bad i have to be the pr guy and front it all
