Either you have freedom of speech, or you dont in this world... Fact is, he's an athlete. He's not a statesman. He's a celebrity, not a govenor. He's a boxer, not a monarch. So what the hell is the deal?

The "board" can go and shove it up their pompous, self righteous asses. If 'appearances' and the pageantry of dignity, a facade, is what matters to the "board", then yes Tyson Fury isn't your man because he is not a man who will carefully select his words and be something that he's not. He is a blunt, straight forward and honest man.

I may not like some of the things he has said... but then again, I never can tell at times whether he is joking or exaggerating. So I take it with a grain of salt by and large. This is boxing, this is entertainment. What do you expect of him? To be Lennox Lewis? To be Frank Bruno? To me... Bruno and Lewis are almost Uncle Tom's because they acted like rich white guys with snobbish attitudes, or were typical "yes men". Tyson Fury is his own man, own personality, has his own mind and beliefs and the press wants to control him just like the boxing organisations want to try and muscle him (shame on you IBF).

The "board" can investigate all they want, render whatever verdict or opinion they want.... I say eff Great Britain and Team Fury come to America where people aren't so bitchy and pissy and pussified about things.
Dude I am an American and Americans are just as pussified. Everything upsets Americans now[/quote]

Especially a heavy weight champion of the world who is British :OhYes:

I don't have to agree with what anyone says but if they are not threatening someone why the hell would I care?
You think? Since when Texans are able to think? Was there some great leap in evolution in the last hour and a half that I am not aware of? These half human imbeciles, who can barely read and write and talk like they are chewing on a dick. I mean, I don't say that we should kill them all or physically harm them, but I wonder what will happen to this forum when we allow all sorts of trash post here. Surely the end is near.

Fair game. I am not going to say you can't state your opinion. Fury has a right to state his asinine rant the same as you just did.
I do not have to agree with Fury's opinion no more than I have to agree with yours.
But he and you have a right to say it. Have a good day

Wow. You are a generalising moron. Have you been to Texas? And would you say the same thing about FGM, gay hating, backward countries like Saudi, Qatar etc or sub Saharan countries like Uganda, Sudan, Mali, Nigeria or average IQ of 59 Congo? No of course you wouldn't. Because they're not on the PC hate list. You're a disingenuous clown

Sorry about the talking like a chewing on a dick comment. That is of course the cockneys rather then the Texans. :OhYes:

The point is though that threat of physical violence is not the only problem. What if I go to Fury family gathering and call them all bigoted pikies. You think I get away with, oh I disagree with your opinion there but you have the rights to say it you devil worshiper? I rather doubt it, they would probably call the police on me. Fury complained before about been called the "p" word. It is however OK to call gays evil, because its in the book. Well, there is the source of all evils right there. BBBoC should investigate the book.

She has a very good point there! Plus let's be honest, all this talk of role models, as much as I love boxing, should kids role models really be people whose job is to knock fuxk out of people for a living?

It is quite pathetic really, especially when you consider that Fury is an absolute choirboy when compared with other British sportsmen from years gone by.

He threatened the journalist from The Mail. :box:

This is what he will get in trouble for. His views are his views, but threatening to get his brother to break a journalist's jaw is out of order. He would be best off apologising for that and say it was meant as a joke.

Thing is though , these journalist think , they can take whatever anyone says and lie and twist it and its ok because there a journalist , it does'nt matter what hate and shite comes the persons way , because they have twisted words , has long has they sell papers its ok ,,, If Tyson has publicly threatened to have his jaw broke ,, its got to be took the way it was meant , a joke , don't twist it cos its a joke .

Now if one of Tysons fans just walks up and breaks his jaw saying now twist that cock head ,, I suppose they will blame that on Tyson has well . But then again it could of been the editor setting it up cos it will sell newspapers ,,

Of course we are, and I take my hat off to the minority who've dedicated their lives to proving so.

because of them I sleep safe at night knowing no matter how much practice they get they won't be the best.

In all seriousness , It really does depend on your upbringing ,, WHEN YOU TAKE THE JOKING ASIDE , it really does depend on your lifestyle ,, My mam and dad were old fashioned , dad worked mam cleaned and cooked ,,, my wifes mam and dad were the same ,, and to be honest my wife and i are excatly the same ,, i went out , worked , paid the morgage and all the bills and the wife stayed home took the kids to school , made the t washed the pots and run the house , On the odd occasion i have made the dinner probably 4-5 times in my whole life , i have to ask where she keeps the pots ,,, then again she's never mowed a lawn or fixed the oil leak in the car , Its the way we were brought up and its the way we live .

My 3 lads though the 2 eldest, there wifes work , they actually do all the cooking and share the house work , I think thats fair cos the girls work ,,, my youngest lad he's like me , never washed a pot does'nt intend to , like he says , she's home while he does 10 hour days , . It works for some not others ,, Tyson obviously has been brought up and lives with old fashioned values , just like me , and guess what funny enough most people i know who lived the same from my generation are still together ,, funny that is'nt it , considering were supposed to be male chauvanistic pigs .

No, not really. In fact, when women are not given independence over their own financial capabilities, one would predict exactly this to happen.
