You could hear the punch which sounded like a padded baseball
bat wacking into a bag of concrete mix.

I was hoping Martz would continue so we could get a look at
some more of Parkers combos

Parker is good, huh? BoxRec already has him ranked #9 in the world.

Parker is the most active heavyweight in the world as far as I know.
Izuagbe Ugonoh is getting more and more impressive as well, he looks a lot like Deontay Wilder.

Parker needs to step up the competition. There are Eastern Europeans who would fight him. Not American contenders, because American fighters with the exception of a few do not want to fight anybody.

always been there at heavy... seems also like if there is a hit behind the head and the fighter is still up and complains... the ref will intervene

But when the fighter goes down, it's most of the time ruled ok and a count starts...

Bowe vs Holy would be a good example...

With the recent events, i think this should be addressed a little more... that and glove shaving with tape

Jeff is one of Australia best prospect's i can't see any local Welterweight around today that he wouldn't beat but his defence better be fixed soon
or his World title dream's will be just that a dream.....hope his team does something real soon so he can reach his full potential :TU:

Parker has been brought along astutely until this match the bloke[Martz] didn't even know how to throw a jab it must have cost more to bring Bob Sheridan over from the State's then it did to bring Martz  Australia have better Heavyweights then Martz

Pointless fight. Stinks of record padding. That said it's a risk free way of improving a HW's rankings. The WBC loves this kind of shit.

You certainly don't know your boxing. For a 17-0 fighter his opponent quality has been excellent. 8th best over the last 18 months. I agree that Martz is not much of a test.

Parker, Joshua, Wilder, Fury. Finally a potentially exciting heavyweight scene a couple years down the road.

Thanks Mate. Been following him since his blowout of Colomban. A fight against Ionut Dan Ion would be a good test.
