With regards medicals and brain scans etc, that is due every 12 months anyway so wouldn't cause a delay, however to reapply for a new 12 month license from the status of a retired boxer would require an interview with the area council. If a boxer wanted to box the following day as he had failed to or been unable to deal with any issues regarding this beforehand, the board would surely be doing that boxer a great favour by allowing them to backdate a renewal rather than miss the fight and wait for the next area council meeting?
HOWEVER, were a boxer to take advantage of this offer under these circumstances and it then came to light that the boxer had been competing in other combat sports, would he then be due a disciplinary?

A favour? Rememever who is making who money? It's a public ltd company they are not a governing body as people like you Lee think, you don't know the difference, they are a law unto themselves you think but half these policy's don't exist.

Sure, a favour. They gave the boxer an option which meant he would be able to accept a contest rather than not be able to. The boxer must make whatever choice he feels is acceptable.
The BBBoC is both a limited company and a governing body, what makes you think otherwise?

Self proclaimed sanctioning body, there a licensing agency, you can fight in the uk without a bbbofc license and without their say so at all. You can also sanction a show in the uk without the bbbofc aka Luxembourg and allegedly. They are the front runners in uk for boxing but in no way are they a governing body. A governing body is a developmental process, for example boxing Scotland who offer progression and routes. Pro boxing there is none of that, there's a set requirement. Lee is boxing corrupt? Hopefully you give me a good answer so it will clarify what you are

if you dont like fighting for the BBBOC and they are that bad, why dont you fight for the MBC? They offer the same licensing serivices as the board do?

I don't need a license, wishful thinking for people to go over to MBC but unfortunately it limits who you fight, look at Iain weAver, what a talent and just can't get fights, In boxing money talk and bull sheets walk, it's a fact that if the money is right then anything is a goer really.

The sanctioning bodies in all sports are self appointed.
Correct it is possible to fight in the UK without a BBBoC license, there are many threads and comments on this subject on this forum. Every man makes his own decisions and chooses if they wish to be a BBBoC license holder or not.
Correct they are the 'frontrunners'. Incorrect, they are a governing body.
I dare say there is corruption in boxing as there is in most facets of life.

All the hard work and suffering a fighter does befire he even takes a punch and these parasites are lurking, not in the shadows but in broad day light, creaming the rewards, i hate this part of boxing

Your on something, a manager gets 25% and a trainer 10, leaving 65, after a camp with diet etc they fight for free basically, higher level more you get, but I know first hand money is dreadful. Also title fights the board taking there sanction. It's way it works of course but Lee where I am from there is a term for you, a bum licker, first hand ezpierienxe 5 years ago.

Per hour worked the fighter is in the red after he pays out for supplements, travel to and frim the gym,gym subs. The boxers wage depends on tickets sold half the time and if your not a good ticket seller you are always fight for next to nothin. Not all boxers get the deal luke campbell, anthony joshua, david price, frankie gavin etc etc get you know. Do ne a favour and watch the gloves are off with carl froch on it and see what he made before he win a world title he said quote "when i fought for the commonwealth title against charles adamu i had to borrow money to survive,i made £10,000 but owed it out and came away with a perferatted ear drum. Bixers arnt like footballers if we dont fight we dont get paid and not everyone had an olympic medal to turn pro and get a deal with". I think some people need to realise this side of boxing because i think some people live in a dream world to think boxers get the lions share of his purse.

It's limited by guarantee, a non profit with the same legal rights as a limited company.

They are crooks to be fair, they hold the gun at the boxers head. They make constant profit off of them, make everything annual so they hammer them yearly. My ball my rules, I heard Robert smith on speaker and that's best way to describe it.

The part where it's rubbish and they are making profit, and if you don't believe it then that's worrying .

It's all very well having a debate on this forum, but when some people are not prepared to have a reasonable dicussion and start name-calling you know it's time to switch off and move onto another thread.

Not name calling in the slightest, my reference to Lee is when ronnie first turned pro from kickboxing Lee called the board and grassed up ronnie for taking a kickboxing fight. The guy is a major fan of the board and thinks there untouchable, therefor a debate with someone like Lee is a waste of time debating with.

Making profit for who? They have no shareholders.

If you can't understand what a nonprofit is, or what a company limited by guarantee is then there's no point going any further because you'll just continue to talk shite about things you have no understanding of.

Kinda like FIFA? Total non profit in that. If you believe that all company's are non profitable when advertised that way then I'm not sure if I want to continue this debate. Honest people in this world, honest accountants also. Money is dripped out of these things.

I'm not massively getting into this because it is a joke. If a boxer pays a fee for anything the should be looked after by that person not trampled on for profit.

One thing that I would be interested in would be Robert Smiths wages and expenses for the last few years. Funny how you never hear any of that from the board. Can guarantee they get paid more per year than most boxers. That is not right

You seem to be confusing making money from boxing and where the bulk of the purse money goes. A boxer will usually pay out 30% of his purse to manager, trainer and corner. 70% he keeps. Of course once training big expenses, ring attire, tax etc are taken care of, for the average small hall boxer, he has probably made a loss. HOWEVER, he is still the recipient of the majority of the purse money.

FIFA is yes, every national association answers to FIFA, nobody answers to bbbofc unless licensed. A choice as you say. They don't govern all boxibg in Britain . Govern there own liscensees

Ah you mean when I was kind enough to warn him on a kickboxing forum that taking a kickboxing bout would put his pro boxing license in jeapordy and rather than say Thankyou he mouthed off like a petulant child, engaged in foolish name calling and said he would do whatever he wanted and challenged me to prove that I was telling the truth.

Who appointed FIFA?
What a strange position. Nobody answers to FIFA apart from people who do - as per the BBBoC.
I don't give a second thought to what FIFA may think before I act, but I don't deny that they are a governing body.
