I can see many different outcomes.

In a pure boxing match, at this stage of their careers, I think Tyson Fury wins. I don't see Wlad suddenly learning to punch to the body, fight on the inside and throw an uppercut. He still has his footspeed and his power, but the reflexes seem to be severly diminished and his stamina has always been a weakness.

If they end up trading, Wlad wins, because while both have fairly average chins, Wlad has far greater punching power.

And it's been especially noticeable since the passing of Manny Steward. IMO Banks has shown almost no ability to get Klitschko the least bit motivated or fired up between rounds. Thus the recent increase in the amount of challengers that have been able to last the full 12 rounds with him.
These things, plus the inevitable aging process, some complacency in training camp I'm sure, his new role as a father of an infant daughter & his wife Hayden's postpartum health issues all resulted in him being ripe for the picking. Especially when faced with such a physical & stylistic oddity in Tyson Fury.
Wlad looked completely flat & uninspired physically, mentally & emotionally. And, as a result, Fury didn't really have to do much in order to win on points. And, credit where it's due, Fury did his part. But other than opening that cut & befuddling Klitschko with his movement, he hardly looked impressive in the process. And, unless Wlad ages several years in the interim & undergoes a total crisis of confidence between now & the rematch, I can not see Fury being able to hurt him.
I think Wlad will be properly focused & motivated for fight II. Perhaps, even a wee bit angry.
And he'll channel it into regaining the title. Inside the distance.

Spot on i think.
Would love to see come back and flatten fury in impressive style but to be honest i just cant see it happening. Will wlad comebin all guns blazing? Very unlikely as he has never really done that. Will he be super active? :well that has never been his thing either. And his inside game is hugging it out until the ref resets with wont work on big guys like fury. I think wlad has to much to change and as you said he doesn't have the trainer to do that. I would like to be wrong as i think although a little boring at times Wlad was a GREAT champion and a very good role model for people in general. I would love to see him come back with a vengeance and blast fury out and then they can have a third fight :TU: it will be the CPR the heavy weight division has needed for year's
