One of the best executions of a left hook I've ever seen by the way.
He went on to have some good wins and challenge for a world title and now fights past prime RJJ on saturday. Fair play
Also, what happened to Frenkel? He never fought again

Sure I've read Frenkel suffered from depression and other mental issues. Shame as I think he was only 25 when he beat Enzo and looked like he could hang with the top guys.TheLeprechaun wrote:Feels like a lifetime ago when the british boxing public were calling for him to retire after this

Thought Enzo was winning that fight comfortably up until the wicked left hook mindNaandrew wrote:Sure I've read Frenkel suffered from depression and other mental issues. Lenny daws deserved to be DQ he went in with his head as he was throwing a punch (trying to disguise the headbutt). Sorry but the guy couldnt even see the blood was rushing that much into his eyes. The ref was bad but he made the right call on the DQveriton wrote:lenny daws could have done with that ref
Looked a complete accident from where i was sat,you do know fighters are meant to step in with their punches?thechump wrote:Lenny daws deserved to be DQ he went in with his head as he was throwing a punch (trying to disguise the headbutt). Yep you said it right, with punches not heads, his head hit before his punch so case closed DQedhandsofstone wrote:Looked a complete accident from where i was sat,you do know fighters are meant to step in with their punches?thechump wrote:Lenny daws deserved to be DQ he went in with his head as he was throwing a punch (trying to disguise the headbutt). I think it was one of his best performances until the knockdown. He was very sharp and had Frenkel looking clueless at times, although even then I had a feeling that things would go wrong at some point.Marlo Stanfield wrote:Thought Enzo was winning that fight comfortably up until the wicked left hook mindNaandrew wrote:Sure I've read Frenkel suffered from depression and other mental issues. Never seen it. How did Jones look?Old bones Ian wrote:Enzo weighed in at 192lbs, Jones 197lbs.
Enzo looked in good shape , no fat on him.
A lot shorter, and doesn't have the muscle definition of old, has the old fighter body look about him.Stuarty30 wrote:Never seen it. How did Jones look?Old bones Ian wrote:Enzo weighed in at 192lbs, Jones 197lbs.

How do you see the fight going? I think Enzo could walk over him if he just goes for it from the start. Jones tends to start slowly nowadays.Old bones Ian wrote:A lot shorter, and doesn't have the muscle definition of old, has the old fighter body look about him.Stuarty30 wrote:Never seen it.
