Where's Thurman? Have You Seen Him? Retirement?

Post by bnovelist »

Every since talks came up about fighting Porter the guy has vanished! Damn.....No interviews, no appearances, no nothing nada! At least Floyd

when he ducked Manny for years at least he talked to the media bashing Manny but Thurman has totally vanished. Did he retire? I never seen a

top fighter get so quiet like the way Thurman is doing lol. This is something different.

I have wondered the same thing. I am guessing he is having second thoughts about fighting Porter. He also wanted no part of Spence. Not so brave after all.

I didn't call him a coward, nor am I an internet warrior. I simply made a statement that is true. He rants and raves about everyone being afraid to fight him, has an "O" and not afraid to let it go. Then he has a chance to fight Spence for a vacant belt, and he turns it down because Spence didn't deserve to fight him? Now he leaves Porter hanging? Sometimes the truth hurts.

They were talking about this on the telecast a week or so ago. They said that Thurman and Porter is all but done and that they are just trying to secure a location. It was originally rumored to be set for January but i think they said it was going to be later now like Feb-Apr.

Maybe this will be the watershed fight in the Welterweight Division where we might finally see the top WW's fight each other. It's been way too long.

Maybe you should enlighten us. Tell us all about the tough guy Thurman? If you have nothing to contribute other than baseless insults, stfu.
