It's good that Groves has sorted out his training set-up and is getting back on the horse.

This is plainly a confidence-builder for him.

Personally I think he probably needs a longer break myself, but obviously they are doing what they feel is for the best.

He's looked lethargic since Wembley, like his feet are sometimes stuck in the mud. I dont know if thats from the heavy KO he suffered, making weight or a combination of both.

Summed it up brilliantly, he took a big hit on his ego too. Very tough to recover from that. McGuigan is a decent move for him, happy to see Haye and Groves together. He needs to feed off Haye. Spar him etc. I think he really looks up to David as a mentor, as he brought him through the paid ranks.

Swear Hearn has mentioned a few times that he's got so many fighters and a limited amount of dates on Sky, but he's happy enough to waste one on this? Di Luisa has no stand out wins, was stopped by Bute in 4 a few months ago and retired against Rebrasse who has 6 KO's in 30 fights. What's the point?

That is a piss-poor main event but the card itself should be decent, Hibbert vs Martin and Ryder vs Khomitsky should be good scraps.

who would he beat for a world title at 175? The top 8 would all take him out IMO, a few of them quite badly.

Is he finished? Looked so fed up and quiet at the De Luisa presser. Callum Smith fight is all wrong for him. Height, reach plus Groves struggles to take a shot well. Sauerlands are poor matchmakers.
