Sorry but going from Tommy Coyle to Yvan Mendy...that isn't just a step up, that's a leap up

Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
I was listening to the usual Sky commentators rubbish in the beginning, talking about "Campbell needing the rounds tonight for his progression" blah blah etc...as if it was a preordained victory.
They never learn.
Campbell is losing this.

Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
If Campbell can come through this it will be a big win
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Campbell not ducking or moving his head enough and and wide open for the left hook over his southpaw right jab

It's not the end of the world if he gets beat, on paper Mendy has a good pedigree to be fighting in your 12th fight. He will learn a lot regardless.

It's not so much the loss, it's how he looks...so...pedestrian. The defense has too many holes in, he's too predictable offensively, he's struggling to avoid being walked into the ropes...he's looking more like a rank novice and not an Olympic champion. It's almost like he's not got a plan BSupremo wrote:It's not the end of the world if he gets beat, on paper Mendy has a good pedigree to be fighting in your 12th fight. Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Campbell's trainer knows this is his last fight with Luke, someone more established will be brought in
Tony Sims anyone ;;-)
Tony Sims anyone ;;-)
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Aye his defence is easy to permeate. Mendy cant miss with the right and he keeps spinning to his right and walking on to the left hook.Boxing Prospect wrote:It's not so much the loss, it's how he looks...so...pedestrian. Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
This is worrying. No head movement at all and no power to keep the man off. Mendy is decent, but Campbell is making him look like a beast.

If he wins the remaining rounds, he'll win the fight.

These commentators.
If they're anything to go by, a robbery is on the cards.
