A Genuine Question (Delboy Spoilers)

I'm not having a go at Delboy or Eddie Hearn for this. Del can only beat who's put in front of him and Eddie Hearn had about 36 hours to bring in an opponent.

Here's my question......

Why in the fvck would the board sanction that opponent that Delboy fought tonight? Why? Why? Why? I mean, what's the point in having the BBBofC when they continue to sanction fights like this. It's an absolute joke.

"Want to get paid to get some brain damage? Yes? Step right up and we'll sanction it. We'll sanction anything. We are a one stop shop for all you mismatch sanctioning needs."

Bullsh1t. I hate this side of the sport.

Does he not have 2 functioning eyes in his head to see the state of an opponent he chooses for these absolute mismatches?
