Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
I bet under 10.5 rounds so suits me.
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Mitchell wasn't exactly under par but B's energy made him look as though he was.

A jab!...a fornicating jab!
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
I'm sure there are small hall shows up and down the country, with 50/50 contests, fight of the year contenders and real good scrapskeithmoonhangover wrote:It's the content that decides if it's worthy.davie wrote:I'm not sure I can be arsed goiung through this discussion again, it's been fairly well covered in the "is this worthy of PPV" thread.keithmoonhangover wrote:
The Paulie fight was canny. Campbell fight was excellent. The Bellew fight was a really good scrap.
Even if there are some entertaining fights on the card, the level is just not PPV material, end of.
But see the day Camp Eddie puts it on PPV (and believe me, he will) I won't be fornicating paying for it.

My word Jim Watt is painful to listen to
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Barroso devastates him with a jab! Terrific natural power
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
I think Hearn and Crolla might just take another look at that offer to fight Flanagan.

Until I saw it in slow motion and from a different angle I couldn't tell that it was a jab that finished the fight despite rewinding three times

Unbelievable ending. What a jab!
I hate when they say 'Is there a way back...?'. It's boxing, there's always a way back. But should Mitchell bother is the question they should be asking.

Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Anthony C will do better than that but I don't think he will beat him. I hate to say it, but I think this guy will catch up with Ant over 12.
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Short, sharp shot.... Did the business.
Tragic for Mitchell. Cant see him coming back now. Battle worn.

He should have a long rest and then go back to British title level.SNG wrote:Unbelievable ending. What a jab!

Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
I was on Enzo KO, Barroso win, and Bellew on points, so it has been a good night. Next one is Eubank Jr rounds 1-3.Supremo wrote:I bet under 10.5 rounds so suits me.
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Wow - got to feel for Mitchell. He is a peculiar one. He took Linares best shots for 10 rounds but, like against Burns (who isn't a puncher on paper) it looked from the start the Mitchell would be outstrengthed and KO'd early.
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Will he be motivated to drop back to British level?Horse wrote:He should have a long rest and then go back to British title level.SNG wrote:Unbelievable ending. What a jab!

Better hope he starts faster than he did against BJS thenBatley18 wrote:I was on Enzo KO, Barroso win, and Bellew on points, so it has been a good night. Next one is Eubank Jr rounds 1-3.Supremo wrote:I bet under 10.5 rounds so suits me.

Never did like Mitchell. I remember seeing him swanning around cockily at the ABAs before watching his brother Vinny get sparked.Loftgroov wrote:Short, sharp shot.... Did the business.

He also looks 10 years older than his relative Phil Mitchell.
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
Lets hope Eubank and Joshua come through or poor Eddie will be sauntering off to a quiet corner to tie a noose.... ![[icon_e_surprised.gif] :oo](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

He's got a bad attitude if he can't.Batley18 wrote:Will he be motivated to drop back to British level?
He's never even defended the British title.
He's never really moved beyond domestic level.
Re: Joshua vs Whyte RBR
I think he learned a lot from that loss. Spike will be open. I like 6/1 on it.davie wrote:Better hope he starts faster than he did against BJS thenBatley18 wrote:I was on Enzo KO, Barroso win, and Bellew on points, so it has been a good night.
