Joshua did well to survive that scare in the 2nd, and that moment of exhaustion in the 3rd. Whyte was too uncoordinated, unbalanced, flailing around, he was going to collide with something sooner or later. The attempt to save himself with a DQ in the 1st was pathetic and revolting. I think the needle between him and Whyte has brought something out in him, possible his real self. I think he could have finished it in 1 if he wanted to there, but he was a bit arrogant and wanted to keep it going.

Surprised anyone takes it seriously today to be honest. Amazing that a few good fighters holding it in the contemporary era has led to the old fights being somehow 'legitimised'. I guess Herbie Hide vs clubfighter Damon Reed and journeyman Willi Fischer now enters the history of the world heavyweight title?

Don't get me wrong, I don't like Wilder, but he has taken some shots and looked shaky but is a World Champ. I certainly wouldn't make too many judgments based on this.
