Think David Haye's health is okay, but apparently his hair dresser has been in a peanut allergy induced coma for 4 years.

His eyes do sometimes almost pop out of his head like a cartoon character's when he starts getting so excited with what he's saying but
he reminds me of Vicky Pollard when he talks.

David Haye has reduced himself to a sideshow now trying to piggyback off the success of novice Anthony Joshua & the now HW champion of the world whom he didn't bother showing up to fight TWICE*.

I bet he is kicking himself now! :shame:

*FAO the hard of thinking: I know he was injured! :KO:

I think Haye's quite a good commentator. He speaks in an educated manner without any street Bollox..... I agree with the poster who questions his hairdresser's lucidity though.

I've never quite understood why Haye has a 1990s goatee and his corn rows were very dated when he had them.

Apropos, have you seen Dave's old mate Craig David lately?

He went to a gym on Tuesday, he was lifting hard by Wednesday, and on Thursday and Friday and Saturday, he rests on Sunday. Dude's hench.

Wow that's pretty amazing. It's odd though that his neck/head look like he's anorexic and his body looks like Ronnie Coleman. I wonder if he has the same dealer on speed dial as Anthony Joshua?

I thought Haye sounded ok.

I was surprised that given the occasion he didn't turn his analysis to the David Haye show and talk himself into the Joshua fight.

I thought his punditry was good on Saturday. Not the usual bravado and self promotion he usually does.

You are correct Jim. If you are 'big enough' then that's all that matters.

I would add though that Haye was 29 back then - and now he's a surgically-repaired and extremely rusty and Booth-less 35 year old.

I won't mention Valuev was poor, had little skill and couldn't even punch as hard as guys 50% smaller than himself either :D

I do agree with you, and I don't think Haye's comeback will play out well for him. But at his best I think he is a more gifted, skillful heavyweight than Anthony Joshua, that was all. There's a reason why Wladimir Klitschko didn't steam forward and unload on him, and it wasn't simply that the 'small' guy was tricky to pin down - it was because the small guy could also knock his brains out with one shot.

Alas I think Haye is outside of his timeframe now, back for cynical reasons, and will be splattered by AJ.
