Whyte genuinely believed he was going to win tonight and put in a monumental effort. He fought until he genuinely had nothing to give. Then he got laid out on the canvas.

He was losing the fight as well and his chin will be definitely be dented after that too. Beaten in absolutely every respect tonight. He's gained everyones respect though.

Del boy would take him a few rounds, he's durable and experienced and would certainly make AJ work but without a significant dig to deter AJ I see him struggling.

Derek from 4 years ago would would have given him a really hard night but I think most agree his best days are behind him. I don't see him providing any greater a challenge than Whyte did.

You can't have a top if the bill PPV boxer facing below standard opposition, whereas they could get away with it if he was a support bout on a Sky undercard.

If Chisorasaurus's chin isn't broken from David Haye (there's been a few times its looked like it has been). Then I would put my money on him to beat Joshua. Let's not forget his last loss was against a guy who just derailed the reigning HW king not some bum. He's looked like he's had a severe lack of ambition but I'm not convinced he is as shot as people are implying.

If Chisorasaurus's chin isn't broken from David Haye (there's been a few times its looked like it has been). Then I would put my money on him to beat Joshua. My worry is not only might he not take a shot too well, I don't think he carries the power Whyte does to deter AJ.
He'd be a good test and work out for Anthony, providing he still takes a shot as well as he once did. But he isn't the fighter he once was IMO and would take punishment.
I wasn't too impressed with what I've seen from Derek of late (just watched his last 2 fights on youtube). This is a match up that would certainly make more sense for AJ than Derek

He'll come back better. His estimation has gone up tenfold, and after looking like it might be over in a round, he comes back showing heart, mental strength, chin and gave the mighty AJ a huge scare. A lot of fighters would've crumbled on that stage, but DW showed he is made of the right stuff.
Everyone is going to be very interested to see his return fight, and I think they're going to build him up. If you're a heavyweight, and half decent, there's a lot of mileage to be had.
