Omar Figueroa win over Demarco wasn't impressive.

Figueroa tried to smoothered Demarco,most of the fight,& forced him to fight on the ropes.Omar Figueroa threw a lot punches & landing a lot of them as well,but he still wore himself out,& Demarco was able to catch him with sum big shots an he almost knock him down once,later in the fight.The fight was closer on the scoreboards, than it had to be!

If Omar can't fight at 140 (Or a couple of pounds higher) or below, he has to at least change his style. If not, he'll be going towards gate keeper status early in his career. He just doesn't have the size/power to effectively fight like he does at Welter or higher. Not to mention there is also a better crop of talent than 140.

Personally i don't think Figueroa could beat any top welter weight at 147, guys like Keith Thurman,Manny Pacquiao,Timothy Bradley,Amir Khan nor Shawn Porter.Why because Omar,lacks inability & skills to fight from a distance and he doesn't have any good movement or footwork.He also has poor defensive skills,the only skill that Figueroa has is letting his hands go & landing punches & brawling, fighting in a phone booth an smoothering opponents.I also don't think Figueroa would defeat Terence Crawford,Rances Barthelemy,Viktor Postol,are Matthysse at 140 either.
