Chris Arreola vs. Travis Kauffman - December 13th 2015
Re: Chris Arreola vs. Travis Kauffman - December 13th 2015
Nothing wrong with the score, I also had it 114-113 Arreola. As others have said, he stole it in the last quarter of the fight. Scoring it close for either fighter is perfectly acceptable.

Chris Arreola should gain back ten pounds. He's a clubbing puncher and without the weight his punches don't do much damage.
Also, he seems to take a punch better when he has more weight. He isn't gaining speed at 236 so what's the point?
And he should find a trainer that can teach him defense and head movement. Nothing fancy but he could easily avoid being
hit quite as often and then maybe he wouldn't be so gun shy. A little Wlado jab and clinch would do the trick.
Of course, at 34 it might be too late but who knows.

I thought it was a good matchup wouldn't have argued if either guy would have won or a draw. They both stepped up to the plate and fought hard they did gas out but it still made a great fight. I don't believe either will become champion but both really good gate keepers you should have to beat either to be eligible for a mediocre title. I personally liked the match up.

Yes, early on he waded in fearlessly taking shots to make one but since he got sparked he's much more cautious.Perseus wrote:Arreola is gun shy?
And he doesn't seem to know what to do once he hits somebody. He just stands there. He needs a new trainer. With
a few skills he might make a comeback. I like Chris, I hope he does.

Good fight. I thought Kauffman won, but I can live with it and it seems like he can to a degree too.
