Never rated Jnrs power. Shame because he would be very dangerous if he could bang, has decent array of shots and picks them very well at times.
Thought 'Spike' bottled it myself. Quitting so early because you're losing and don't fancy the job? Bad darts. Eubank was blowing, why not see out a couple more rounds?

Agreed, spike hardly missed with his left?!?, with someone as easy to tag as Eubank Jr you always have a chance.

In fairness I think Eubank could have boxed on the back foot all night and won an easy points decision. But he didn't want to and didn't respect spikes power - that to me is what makes him entertaining, he takes risks.

Wasn't having a pop at Eubanks. He comes to fight and had a go so always worth a watch more spike quitting when he always had a punchers chance. Wasn't like he was getting used as a punch bag was it?

Crazy saying Spike should gave taken more punishment, he took some piledriving punishment there, and sometimes fighters who have got rocksolid chins need to be protected by their corners, which he was thank god. With a chin like that, 12 rounds of that type of brain jarring shots can do some serious damage . He couldn't get out of the bloody way of anything.
And I'd say almost certainly Eubank Junior hits extremely hard. I don't think you'd find any fighter who would criticise spike for that showing.

He reminds me of a younger Anthony Mundine he'll be good for the sport he will have some night's that'll have super star written all over him
but against the VERY BEST he'll get clipped

I think he has more about him than those two. There are elements of his game that needs work, and I am not a huge fan of his posing and posturing in the ring as one day he will do it and get clipped. However, he seems to carry good power and has a good chin. What he maybe needs to develop is boxing to a plan. Adam Booth is a great tactical trainer, but I can't imagine much of what he would have said to Eubank prior to the fight will have been implemented.

It will definitely take time. I look at him like Amir Khan a few years back, but with a good chin on him. He will definitely get drawn into scraps, but he needs to stick to a game plan. When he can do that, then he will be a tough guy to beat.
