My thoughts exactly. Embarrassingdavie wrote:No no noCounter-puncher wrote:CharlesListon wrote:But mine was funnier.
I'm just a bit worried now that all of this recent attention and buzz surrounding these awards will some how come to the attention of Adam Smith.
My front door was knocked at 11.30pm on Saturday. I crapped myself thinking Smith had done a Woodhouse on me. I saw myself sat on Lorraine's couch with a black eye and busted jaw, having to apologise for trolling. Then I realised that it couldnt be Left Hook Adam Smith, because he was on my television over in Dussledorf agreeing with people.
Then I got really worried. I wondered if the whole Fury v Klit show was a pre-recorded fake. (Like the NASA moon landing in that film with dodgy glove buyer OJ Simpson.) and it really was Mad Adam at the door, hiding behind a really good alibi. Then I thought, 'No. Smith would want the world to know he'd filled me in'. It's how he builds this whole cult of violence and fear.
By the time I got my Mrs to answer the door the knocker wasn't there. I got her to check around, see if there were any discarded headphones, fight passes or saliva trails that smelt of Johnny Nelson. There wasn't. But I've been in fear since.
Never mind arguing about the Strawman. I've got a hardman after me. Probably.
Fame and accolade come don't come on their own.![]()
Loses points for making a post of the year attempt in the post of the year thread.
He's trying to hard!

The exchange that made me laugh involved a 3-way between Horse, KeithMoon, and BoxerBeetle:

BoxerBeetle probably deserves the credit for providing the punchline, but you laid the foundations!keithmoonhangover wrote:Not my finest hour, but I'll take it.Dixonian wrote:The exchange that made me laugh involved a 3-way between Horse, KeithMoon, and BoxerBeetle:

There was a great one about Buncey looking like a shouting tomato. Some potty mouthed cross stitch was also mentioned on the same thread.

Seriously, has anyone on here met Horse in real life? He, along with Khaosai Galaxy are probably two Boxreccers I would have a perverse fascination with having a drink with. I would have no idea what to expect. But then again all signs point to Horse not really existing.

If he's a ficticious creation he should have his own comedy series.Riddick Blowe wrote:And then Horse said 'fair enough' and meant it.Dixonian wrote:The exchange that made me laugh involved a 3-way between Horse, KeithMoon, and BoxerBeetle:

He exists. He sends me jpeg photos of "himself" all the time.
Problem is, I'm fairly sure they are cut outs from the Gratton Autumn/Winter 1983 catalogue.
He loves a pm. I'd urge you all to pm him. He prefers personal questions. If you want to get the best out of him ask him a personal question.

He doesn't go to shows, so a meet up would be difficult. He lives with his mam I think, probably in her basement.Riddick Blowe wrote:And then Horse said 'fair enough' and meant it.Dixonian wrote:The exchange that made me laugh involved a 3-way between Horse, KeithMoon, and BoxerBeetle:

Re: Boxrec Post of the Year 2015; Nominations
I'm trying to build a profile of Horse.
I think we all agree he is white, aged in his thirties and lives with his mum. It's unlikely he goes to boxing shows, but does have access to a TV and Sky. We know he has access to the internet and time on his hands. After all he is able to painstakingly research boxers for his monthly P4P thread.
He seems to disappear for a few days at a time....this is where pure guesswork comes into things. His disappearances are either:
1) Because he has to accompany his mother to places like Harrogate. Rules are bent and he is allowed on a Wallace Arnold coach despite being middle-aged and not elderly.
2) Its on these missing days that he does his research. He throws himself into it so much that he simply cannot afford the distraction of a forum.
3) He has another hobby beside boxing. This could be a star-wars hobby. He could very well split his time between a star-wars forum and here. I would imagine his opinion on all matters star-wars carries great weight on the star-wars forum too. Maybe he does a P4P type thread, which always has Bobba Fett at the top of the pile.
Horse does not have a girlfriend. She would just interfere with his important work and generally spoil things.
if anyone else has any other info on the man we know as Horse, please post it. Has he ever let slip a home-town? Has he ever mentioned driving a car? Where does he go to during these disappearances for days at a time? Does he have a pet? Does he prefer Corrie or Eastenders?

Facially yes, specs yes....but I always picture him in chunky, patterned knit-wear. Maybe a cardigan, ranging in colour from cream at the bottom, to brown through the middle bit and a caramel towards the top. Each layer of colour is kind of like zig zaggy. The cardigan has a zip.
I think he's chubby too.

I think he's late twenties, on the autistic spectrum, a virgin, has never been to a show and watches all the fights on streams.CharlesListon wrote:I'm trying to build a profile of Horse.
