If so can we explain the Fury v Klit fight? Peter Fury has written the deal was brokered without match room.

Al Haymon never bothered clearing it with them for Floyd-PAC either...

Thats what got me thinking, but Eddie and Barry have both said Sky must use Matchroom for PPV on social media.

Two of one of the worlds strongest stable have been beaten since then. One twice, both inside the distance.

FW seemed pretty adamant and Peter Fury is not known for lying.

Eddie was saying in some interview I read that he brokers the deal & gets a cut regardless of who promotes.

Camp Eddie was at a lot of the Fury-Wlad press conferences, so he must have some sort of involvement.

someone's been asking this on twitter Eddie seems to suggest that they do if/when in uk or a uk fighter involved. He said Fury / Klitschko was done through Matchroom but Mayweather/Pacquiao was done directly with Sky

If Saunders wins the title this weekend wouldbe good to see FW and Eddie work together for the BJS vs. Eubank rematch on PPV with Crolla vs. Flanaghan as co-main. Half the card to franks fighters half to eddies, similair to the Frampton/Quigg set up.
Imagine the press conferences between these 2.

That's not right mate. The head of sky sports directs Adam Smith to put up shows for ppv. Smith works with Match room and is responsible for their exclusive deal for the regular slots. He can't do anything about what is ppv and what isn't.

Sky sports are demanding more and more ppv to cover losses they've suffered with a lot of football going to BT sport.

Skysports are desperate to win back football as it's their biggest earner by a million miles. They know they need to bid more and more to secure it and the ppv money is being used for that.

My gripe with it is....if matchroom know they are going to struggle to fulfill multiple decent ppv shows they should open the doors a bit and work with others.

On their own they don't have enough fighters to stack multiple decent ppv events. So they know they have to do a gash one every now and again. An alternative option is to not worry about protecting golden goose fighters and match them with lads from another stable and make sure each ppv is worthy.

And Warrington-Mitchell Smith. I don't think Camp Eddie would go for it. It could go badly wrong for him.

So it seems Matchroom only have exclusivity for Sky Sports Box office. Looks like allegedly will be making waves on Sky Box Office in 2016. Good luck to them, hope they can make it work.

IFL interview with Peter Fury which totally refutes what Eddie Hearn has been saying.

In total, there is an interview with Frank and George, one with Eddie and one with Fury.

Sure they are a long listen but worth it. I amazed that people on forums debate, argue, guess and stuff but do not bother listening to the parties involved who actually talk and answer all the questions and mis information

In a nutshell it's all about the letter 'S'.

Matchroom repeatedly stated that you can't appear on SBO without going through them. Its since transpired that their agreement / Contract with Sky only covers SSBO.

The only thing I'm still puzzled by is why Eddie/Matchroom still received a percentage of the purse even though they didn't supply the under card on the second date.
