I flat out do not rate Tom Stalker.

I think I've seen every bout since he turned pro and have said each time, I'm buggered if I know how he was the captain of the Olympic team.

Does not even look domestic class. If he picks up a Lonsdale belt in his career I'll be shocked.

Stalker wins this close by decision.
Evans is a good fighter but he needs to drop down a weight.
Stalker is a lot bigger than Evans and that's the deciding factor for me.

Even fight for me - could go either way.

I agree that it would be a great achievement if he wins a British title - but that it is a great achievement!

It is not a case of if a boxer doesn't win a world title then it isn't worth bothering and their career is a disappointment - this is a good domestic fight and there should be more of them.

We can go back over the last 20 years and how many fights have we missed out on - recently the likes of Barker, Murray, Macklin etc. it is just daft as the boxers want to be in good fights and the fans want to see good evenly matched fights.

When you look at the older records of boxers they would have like 30-20 records, been in some great fights, have some great memories and may have picked up an area or even British title.

Compare that to modern boxers who might retire on a 15-2 record. When you look who they fought this tells you the real story, they wasted 5 years training to fight lower level opposition in the hope that their manager can manoeuvre them into a ranking position.

They then have an even fight, lose and then wheels often comes off before they drift away.

Ok, a bit of a generalisation but you get my drift.

Looking forward to this; genuine match up. Also Saunders v Lee another good match up. Kelly might suprise a few and he'll give it a good go. Catteralls opponent, noe nunez, seems to have a good record but he's a small lightweight and he'll be too small to cause any problems. Don't like Mitchell Smith and hope he gets beat but he's too talented for Jupp. Decent show

Evans was poor in the last fight like he underestimated Stalker. I think he will be a lot better and sneak a close points decision. Evans is very talented but he is also a very lucky fighter. Has had the luck of the green on a few occasions now. I think Warren prefers him over Stalker so would expect anything close to go his way

I think Stalker's been robbed in his last 2 fights. I've not been impressed with him as a pro but he's looked much better since he moved down to lightweight.

It's 10 rounds.
4/3 Evans. Stalker punch output decreased dramatically.
Very close fight still. Could go to anyone.

Evans looks the stronger of the two.

Stalker needs a big two rounds.
