Re: Joshua Does 400K PPV Buys
Maybe did 400k PPV buys, as told by someone on twitter
Re: Joshua Does 400K PPV Buys
No son, reported and verified by numerous sources.ttornado wrote:Maybe did 400k PPV buys, as told by someone on twitter
Not tweeted once by someone reporting the exact opposite at the time in question.
Re: Joshua Does 400K PPV Buys
Who are the numerous sources who have verified this? Who are their sources?
I've mainly just seen people reporting 400,000 with reference to Rafael's claim (of course agenda-driven people have no problem dismissing his other PPV claims while accepting this), which is the case with the article you posted too (and LOL at Scott Gilfoid--those familiar with his work will probably know what I mean). If 400k is true it's quite impressive, though it's also worth noting for people who aren't aware that the Joshua PPV cost significantly less than the standard American PPV.
Regardless of the exact figures, if Joshua keeps winning as he does it's hard to see how he won't be a major star. He's got the aggressive, power-punching style and herculean build that make him a great draw for the casuals, and clearly a lot is being put into building his name.

I rarely rely on one source for anything I post. But, since folks accept tweets as gospel here I see no reason for any further documentation.

I'd not just uncritically believe Eddie Hearn's PR spin.koolkc107 wrote: Believe whatever you like...

Can't fault you there.ttornado wrote:I'd not just uncritically believe Eddie Hearn's PR spin.koolkc107 wrote: Believe whatever you like...

But, in this case, I think the number is accurate even if it is a bit hard to believe.
Re: Joshua Does 400K PPV Buys
400,000 buys in the UK = 1 buy for every 65 households.
If you believe Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte sold 400k PPV's you're a gullible fool... but hey, this is Brut's thread.... so i rest my case.

Looking at it logically like you are. Yes it is very unbelievable.Ricky_ wrote:400,000 buys in the UK = 1 buy for every 65 households.

But put Joshua's nuts in your face like Brut and you may believe it too

Too many zero's.
40,000 might be more believeable.
