Hardly 15% for gods sake! People talking utter shite about things they have no knowledge or experience. Oh btw, keep watching the next 30 seconds and see his boy on the pads. Damn!

Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
He is one of the top lads in the MW division, top five anyway, albeit a gulf between GGG and the rest

If it makes big money it could be Eubank, it won't be GGG, BJS has said several times he'd get killed if he fought him.

Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
If the moneys right a show with Saunders vs. Eubank jr 2 as headline with Lee vs. O'Sullivan 2 as co-main woukd be a decent show, possibly over Iin Ireland with support from MGM MarbellaNightmare Roy wrote:If it makes big money it could be Eubank, it won't be GGG, BJS has said several times he'd get killed if he fought him.
Would more than likely lead to a rematch with Lee, a chance for BJS to cement both wins before challenging the big names.
Anybody have an idea where BJS could make his home venue?

No knowledge or experience? What do you know about anybody on here's personal experience or knowledge- lets see your estimate of his body fat then genius- You trying to claim he's at 10%?

That's a video of Friday's weigh in, the leanest and easiest he has ever done the weight. If you don't think he could safely shift 6lbs off that frame you are absolutely dreaming.

If smith can defend against Kelly then no reason why this won't be true.rio wrote:Unfortunately it will be tommy langford.

Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
It will be Langford. He has been purposely steered towards the wbo inter title, which is a direct route to a crack at the wbo main title. Last night Frank said billy will defend 3-4 times next year. Langford will be one of them. Now billy has won the world title the aim is to keep it. If Langford isn't first up, I can see them both on the same bill to build towards a clash.ShadrachSimmo wrote:If smith can defend against Kelly then no reason why this won't be true.rio wrote:Unfortunately it will be tommy langford.

Where did I say he could not take 6lb off safely? I said he could trim some off but that he is not 15%.

Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
He's ready for GGG now. BJS is as good as Mayweather and reminds me or Sugar Ray Robinson. He would beat Golovkin now, believe.

I will ask you AGAIN- could you please provide your estimate as to what his body fat percentage is?
Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
He's earnt a decent payday against a safe opponent. No point going in with Jacobs or Quillin yet.
BT Sport PPV with Fury headlining and Billy Joe second on the bill in April 2016.

Frank could put it on BN and get new viewers signed up for 6 months- be a risk but might pay off. Possible with Singh and the Indian market.

Next up for Billy Joe Saunders is to enjoy his Christmas and come back in the new year as the world champion
Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
Think next is a soft defence.
But next big fight, he talks here (post fight interview) about Cotto -https://twitter.com/KuganCassius/status ... 6566397953
I think it makes lots of sense, Cotto is a massive name, is starting to head downhill, would break BJS into America, and the fight also makes a lot of sense for Freddie Roach and Cotto as BJS on paper is less challenging that Alvarez, Mayweather and other names he has fought - they may consider it a last roll of the dice for Cotto.
I get the impression that BJS view of Eubank is the same as Fury's on David Haye. BJS fought him once and beat him (IMO more comfortably than a SD, but still close) and has subsequently had an offer on the table for a re-match mucked around with. BJS should move onto better things IMO. He can test himself at the World Level, and then can get it on with Eubank a few years down the line.
Let's look at PPV "logic", so both Eubank and Saunders are on the up and young fighters heading towards prime, but people would still buy a "grudge" PPV in a few years whatever happens - I am not condoning it - but if they could sell Bellew vs Cleverly they can sure as hell sell a 2018 Eubank vs Saunders to the PPV customers.

Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
Cotto for me and I think BJS would beat him too.
Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
Hasn't that always happened? I think Cotto would box Saunders, Billy Joe isn't really a scary fighter but there's no way Cotto would box over here.Medulla Oblongata wrote:Cotto for BJS, Mosley for Smith is this the new matchmaking trend, over the hill fighters boxing a division above their best weight?

Canelo, very much doubt it happens but an interesting styles match up.

For me, it makes sense to have Billy Joe Saunders take on Eubank in a HUGE British clash of the titans.

Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
Something/someone not that stellar but worthy as a first defence...before tangling with the Eubank clan again I reckon.
They could schedule Eubank v Benn 3 on the undercard to keep Chris Senior well out of the way and with his own business to attend to?

Canelo or Golovkin would ruin him. I expect Cotto to retire very soon, or drop down to 154 so don't think he's even in the frame.gazza8 wrote:Trebile G ...Cotto....Canelo...give me a break

I think we can all agree it will be a safe defence, maybe Langford or O'Kane??
Re: Next For Billy Joe Saunders?
GGG would be too much for BJS.
Canelo and Jacobs both are excellent tests for each of them. I'd love to see one of those.
Eubank, I need to see more improvement from Jr to make this fight intriguing.
