David "Brown Buttabean" Letele Retirement Announcement

Post by bennyaha1 »

So Duco announced that the BBB will be retiring after 2016
His last fight will either be November or December at Fight for Life (I'm guessing in Hamilton) against Loni "The Tongan Bear" Uhila for there third fight.
He said 2016 will be his road to the Duco World Heavyweight Corporate Title. He is already been booked to fight in Samoa on January 23rd, Waitara on April 2nd, a bout on Duco undercard sometime in April and rumour has it a potential 8 man tournament in May or June (but nothing is confirmed there) in Auckland.

BBB is currently 36 years old, fought in eleven pro bouts which all of them are four rounders and fought around 5 ish corporates I believe.

I like to point out that "World Famous in New Zealand" is a slogan from the popular NZ drink called L&P
It is there advertising slogan that is in there commercials and is printed on the bottle
I thought it would work well when i wrote the article

Your obsession with this joker shows your lack of boxing knowledge.

I have to say my obsession is boxing and I enjoy writing about things
Things like this is easy to write about
on a side note done forget I am also an Editor of Boxrec, been a fan of boxing for 15 years watching it religiously, A Boxing judge and a writer of multiple fighting websites which shows that I don't have a lack of boxing knowledge

But you don't understand he's not a real boxer, have you heard of milli vanilli? They were a pop group created in the 1980's. They couldn't sing or play an instrument they were just puppets to make a bigger corporation money and con the paying public, do you see where I'm going with this?

I am not denying you of that its more pandering to the crowd (I think it's what its called) plus it is good practice for me with article writing

Its turning tough no nonsense boxing into play acting wrestling style. I can't stand the whole shirard. I apologise though, I think I worded it wrong in my first comment, your just a bit over eager sometimes (clearly only in my opinion). You've been great for the Aussie &Pacific board and are bringing much more of a kiwi element to it.
