Price-conqueror Teper in doping rumour ?

Post by whiskey »

Erkan Teper apparently failed a doping test after his fight with Price?

It's alleged that Thompson failed too after their fight, that he was caught using masking agents for (possibly) sterner stuff.

Personally I think those losses should be squashed myself. Regardless whether people thought he had a chance or not - they dont deserve to keep their wins over him or anybody else for that matter.

The result should've been quashed instantly.

Perhaps that's why the EBU title is vacant.

No clean fighter can beat David Price.

Originally they made out he withdrew from the fight due to injury, but it seems someone has let the cat out of the bag so Sauerland had to come clean.

Agreed. I knew that shot which Teper floored Pricey with was harder than it looked. Only a doped up Fatboy could have produced that shallacking from a single blow.

Call Price, tell him to put his plumber`s Tools Down and get back in training.

The drug bans in boxing are pathetic. I've only just noticed that WBA interim heavyweight champion Luis Ortiz failed a drugs test after his fight with Kayedee (?spelling) but the WBA don't seem to care as he is still defending his title.

Got to feel for Big Pricey tho, wether or not the substances him and Thompson have failed on effected the result or not does not make them legal , and the fights should be N/C

changing the result now is only going to be really cosmetic though...poor Price had to take some big shots off a drugs cheat and ended up getting flattened. changing the result wont change that, the affect it has had on his confidence/chin and brain.

Price is effectively unbeaten against someone not juicing. Having said that, PEDs are a feature of the modern sporting world and I find it hard to believe they made much difference in Price's losses.... And even if they did, he's clearly chinny and vulnerable

Presumably he was subject to the same testing as Teper (and Thompson)?

:TU: Would be foolish not to get on that IMO, as everyone has said I wouldn't be shocked if most boxers are on something.

I think it was one of the dozen or so banned substances that Larry Olubamiwo got caught for.

This should give Price the confidence to come back and continue his career where he left off.

Not.

ok, fair enough, next year my mum is 80, i am going to put her into a 'tough mudder' race then she can fight price, before she has a shower.

strangely, if she swings her handbag wildly and clips him, there is a fair chance she could get a stoppage. the only stoppages so far on her record involve her bowels.

Any reason why the TT fight isn't yet a no contest yet?
