YEah Mundine is something amazing....surely he must have been training or sparring for years before he went pro?
His Dad was a former title contender though when he fought Monzon so he would of picked it up quite quickly.

Bonecrusher Smith took up boxing at 26 or so just to stay fit and later became a genuine world champion and have Larry Holmes a run for his money.

Mundine never fought until his mid 20's but he had grown up in his fathers boxing gym and had trained in the sport his entire life.

i dont think ruud gullit kicked a football till he was 19 or so
