Adrien Broner confirms fight offer from Manny Pacquiao's camp

Adrien Broner has confirmed that Manny Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz called him to discuss the possibility of a Pacquiao-Broner fight likely to happen on April 9 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

In a video interview, Broner said he actually got a call from Michael Koncz, the Canadian adviser of Pacquiao.

"I hear they want me to fight Pacquiao next...Michael Koncz actually called me...we waiting to hear from him...I love fighting southpaws, man...he's a great guy...it'll be a hell of a fight.

Way better than the joke fight of Rios.
Also better than Floyd's fight with Berto.

I don't mind this actually. Still unlikely with Broner being a Haymon fighter.

I'd prefer Bradley 3 than Broner.

Ugly fight. I'd much rather see Bradley 3 as well.

I would be shocked if this fight happens. It makes even less sense than a fight with Khan. I still think it will be Crawford or Bradley, since they are in-house fights. I think Pac vs Provo would be the most entertaining of all.

Total mismatch Broner couldn't never handle the pressure from manny pacquiao,it would be a sparring session for pacquiao & a very easy solid win.Broner would have a better chance fighting Chris Aligeri ,Brandon Rios,or Mike Alvardo are any welterweight thats not in the top 10.

This fight doesn't make a lick of sense now that I've had some time to consider it. Why would Top Rank decide to forgo the Crawford or Bradley fights to get both ends of the proceeds for another tough to arrange fight with an Al Haymon fighter. I know Broner claims to be his own promoter but he's been fighting on PBC and was one of their focus fighters for the series.

I think it's a lie. Must be.

I bet the only reason Broner, would take the fight because of the money & the ppv views. What he gone say i lost to a great fighter like Pacquiao but my finance's good and we still gone turn up an party together after the fight.I bet that fool gone say but ain't the end of day im still A.B. all about billions and im still ballin, still flashy & fly. What would that say about his career and resume,i held 3 world titiles in 3 different weights classes & lost to ever elite fighter i fought.

Bargaining tactic by Team Pac. I expected Bradley to announce he was in talks to fight someone just to pile pressure on Pacquiao to accept the fight, but seems as Team Pac are using this method. Broner/Pac rumour is most likely a PR stunt or just a mutual agreement to ensure both fighters get decent pay packets for their next bouts.

Pacquiao, faded as he clearly is, has already answered the Bradley riddle, twice. No need for that again. So yeah that's probably what's it's gonna fuckin' be lol. I think TC is a special fighter and that's who would make the best fight for Manny. Floyd is too skilled and too smart, TC hasn't gotten to the master level yet.

How long until they announce his opponent? I heard 'at the end of the week' like 2-3 weeks ago?

What would be the problem with this fight?

Both guys are action fighters.

If the fight is at 140 ... Broner is undefeated below 147.
And the 2 guys he lost to at 147 aren't bums.
And he wasn't totally blown away by them either.

I hope they pick this road.

And if Broner wins  , package Broner/Crawford for Fall 2016 in the deal.

Easy, near shutout win for Pac if it comes off.

I reckon it was all set for Bradley but the feedback from fans was bad and they scrapped it.

Have zero interest in that fight Manny clearly beat him in 2 fights.
