I used to love watching Tuesday Night Fights on USA network with announcers Al Albert and Sean O'Grady.
What were your memories of this show that ran from 1982 to 1998?

Rockin Rodney Moore & the Blue Horizon.
DD
Seemed like Moore was a regular on that channel & one fight a month was at the Horizon.
I watched it all the time. It was a spot for young guys like Roy Jones & old guys like Foreman. I started watching in the late 80's so Foreman dominates my memories. I remember Camacho getting knocked down. The Calvin Grove vs Jorge Paez fight. Jorge Maysonet knocking out some guy in like 20 seconds or something. Plenty of name boxers like Mugabi, Duran, Bowe, Hill, Holmes, & such but not always the most competitive bouts. Decent action though. This is all off the top of my head. I'll have to sit & think of more.
Likeable hosts in Al Albert & "the champ" Sean O'Grady. It was nice to get a boxing at least twice a week with ESPN being the other.

Definitely. Saw alot of George Foreman's comeback fights on that show. If memory serves me right Everett Bigfoot Martin was a fan favorite on the show, he was almost on at least one card a month. If am not mistaken, also, Peter McNeeley fought Henry Akinwande on the same network.

Watched it religiously I remember all of those....
AND I got taken for a ride.
I was on the "Mahone Bandwagon".......and the "Sir" Ed "The Hammer" Mahone ran into Dr Ironfist.....and he was of course never the same again.
I think Vitali actually broke the guy. USA Network had really promoted him....and although it was not quite the Calzaghe Lacy debacle for me, I was imagining that Mahone was going to do well in that fight......and of course, that didn't happen.

Wasn't a Mahone and Foreman fight being touted about a few of those weeks? Looking back I'm not sure it would have been a good fight, but with Mahones winning streak, and Foremans fight with Shultze, in and around that time, I think it was discussed.
