British No Contest

I have been trying to trace a fight I watched that was called off by the ref - possibly as a No Contest or both fighters being disqualified.

It would have been in the '80s or '90's and was on UK tv, possibly the BBC.

If I recall correctly, the ref called it off in about the fourth as neither boxer would engage despite several warnings from the ref to do so.

Its one of those interesting/quirky events that should be well known, yet doesn't seem to be so (apart from me!)

Can anyone help me out with this - re info or even footage?

Could it be Alan Minter v. Jan Magdziarz third fight?
They were both disqualified for not trying in the fourth round.
