Haye Day undercard.

I like David Haye. I'm glad that he's back. I reckon that he's probably still a top ten heavy and probably has a decent chance of winning a version of a world title.

This however must be the worst card of boxing at this level that I can remember seeing. Appalling in every way!

No offence to Speight but he's coming off something like 6 losses out of his last 8 fights,or so i read

Dib's looking finished at top level but i would rather see him in with someone like John Simpson,that'd be a great tussle

Let's be honest it's not a great card and Haye is banking on the audience coming to see him which may well be the case, I guess we will have to wait and see if the crowd turn up before we know if it's been a success.

Has any TV company picked it up, I am assuming by the inclusion of Dib and with Di Mori being Australian they are trying to get it on the tv over there as well.

Not sure who might pick it up, surely it would be worth allegedly dipping a toe and giving him a platform but good business sense might be to leave it late and if Haye is panicking get it cheaper.

Fair play to him for getting work for loads of boxers but most of us know how these things work. Put on 17 fights, the home guys will sell 100+ tickets each = sell out for a hall that holds about 2,000. In realty there is never more than 2-300 watching at any one time because most people watch their boxer then go to the pub.

If Wazza or Hearn put on this undercard they'd get slaughtered

Actually not accurate. We dont have 200-300 watching at any one time. Shows are packed. See promo video from my show in October 2015.

Many people buy tickets for Goodwin shows and stay for the whole event. We create an event so the majority dont come and go like happens in the majority of small hall shows.

Also we can only provide what we are asked to for an undercard. We were asked to provide 2 4 rounders and 2 6 rounders and our boxers must have good knock out ratios. We were not asked to put on competitive title fights which Goodwin Boxing is renowned for.

Really? Wow I am surprised just because there doesn't seem to have been much press on the event. Anyway depending on the odds Haye Ko1 looks likely. De Mori is aggressive but short armed and holds his chin up and left low. Perfect recipe for a Haye KO1
