Terry Flanagan doesn't receive the attention given to Eubank Jr and others, yet he ranks higher in his division.

He could be the best lightweight in the world right now.

Great to see someone else give him the credit he deserves. He is my favourite fighter and I think he's going to have an even bigger 2016. The Matthews fight is just an in house easy fight to make but after that they want Crolla or Linares, for me he would beat both easily, Linares was losing to Mitchell before stopping him but Flanagan isn't vulnerably like Mitchell and is stronger so I'd fancy him to stop Linares, Crolla doesn't do anything special I cant see how he can beat Turbo.

I think he was matched very carefully for quite a while which is probably part of the reason he's flown under the radar for so long.

Could be a huge year for him though, once he gets Matthews out the way you could put him in against absolutely anybody. From a purely financial point of view he could aim for one of Hearn's domestics or he could go chasing belts against Barthelemy/Linares. No reason he can't clean up

Magdaleno was a pro and didn't give any excuses.
Rumour I heard and looks evident on film. His shoes had no grip and he felt like he was fighting on ice. Someone had ran backstage looking for footwear at the time of the stoppage.
It's hard to avoid bombs when you can't stand straight.

Nothing against Flanagan though.

Flanagan/ Linares/ Barthélemy could all be #1. Hopefully 2016 they either fight each other or good opposition to give us a clear indication of the best.

I rate Linares number 1 but he's never far away from a loss when he reaches this level.

He looked VERY under sized as well, almost like he was coming up 2 divisions.
Zlaticanin looks a bit dangerous as well, and I like that Barroso...good division with no stand out

Imo Terry would make easy work of Linares.

Fast and busy southpaw boxer with a decent dig and his feet on the floor? Terry could be the 2nd coming of Calzaghe.
