This is probably going to be pretty competitive.

A 37 year old who's relied a lot on punching speed, & power coming off a major shoulder injury.

Bradley, no slouch, who looked pretty damn good under Roach's tutelage last time out.

There have been so many worse fights/matches lately and for a long time actually, I can't really hate this one.
Being someone who watches all the boxing I can, I see worse matchups between lesser fighters than this one 80% of the time.
Not that it's an important fight on the grand scale (Much more important for Bradley than Pac, given the 1st 2 fights), but I would most likely tune in to watch both guy anyways, even if they weren't fighting each other. So at least I can see both at once.

I do still chuckle at Arum's shameless 'in house only or f*ck you" promotional antics, though.
I'm sure to get even more of a laugh listening to him try and promote it.
Pac needed a 2M advance.
That's beyond absurd and downright sad, but hey Arum's the best.
Can he die already?

Exactly.

Folks who don't think this has at least a chance to be good aren't thinking too clearly.

Yeah, Rios against Tim didn't look anything like he did against Pac 2 years ago.

But, it was the same Brandon that got a DQ against Chavez in what was last year's DFOTY (dirtiest fight of 2014)
and who basically retired the guy who dealt him his first loss.

Tim stopped him and Manny didn't.

Easy sell for the fight and plenty of time to hype it over a million buys minimum.

I absolutely LOVE it! I hope the people knocking this choice don't tune in and miss a great fight. No one deserves to be Manny's last opponent like Timothy Bradley does. We have a rubber match regardless of who you had winning the first one. The second fight was a GREAT fight up until Bradley got hurt and had to swing for the fences.

All the Floyd Flygirls will try to knock it and try to relate this to the Berto fight but it's not even close. Timothy Bradley bring action and heart like no one else can and he deserves to have one more crack at Manny. Love it. For the people that don't like it, don't watch it then. If you don't like this fight, you were never a fan of Manny's anyway so no one needs ya.

The washing machine spinning is WAY better. Especially after a little smoke. Watching myself shadow box in the mirror has similar action to this trilogy.

I'd rather see Pacquiao vs Rios again, that was just like Arnold Schwarzenegger's movie "The Running Man".

Very entertaining and would be much better than the replay of Tim vs Manny 3.

Agreed. Not that it couldnt be a good fight but it is a very boring prospect as pacquiao has beaten him twice already. Wouldnt be shocked to see pac lose his motivation for this one as it means nothing at all and i believe that will be reflected at the box office.

It's funny when you think about it, if any other highly rated welterweight had announced that they were fighting Bradley next (think Thurman, Brook, Porter, Garcia etc....) we would all be excited.
But Pac doing it is a massive disappointment. It seems like he is happy for his career to go out with a whimper, which is a shame.

For me the bigger shame is that he needs an advance of any amount at this point, after putting in so much great work and accomplishing what he has over the years.
I don't think he's necessarily happy with this fight and the way his career is probably about to play out, final run-wise.
He's going to be taking whatever fights Arum makes him take, because he'll obviously always need the money, and if he should happen to lose along the way also, well, Arum will only squeeze him harder.
Freddie always said he was pretty scared that Pac was the kind of guy who would eventually give all of his money away, and that indeed seems to be case.
Hopefully he doesn't fight well into Holyfield/JToney/RJJ etc territory, where it's so bad you feel sorry to be watching.

Thanks. Even though Leon was from the different side of the tracks, me and my buddies in high school at the time, saw Leon as one of us for the partying reason.

Who should have Pacquiao fought?
Bradley is still like a top 3 welterweight at the moment.
