Eubank jr made a big mistake in posing about too much, since then he has been all business from the start, next time he beats BJS who keeps fading in his fights, but just managing to sneak them, because of him being the home fighter, can see him coming unstuck soon, rather then later.
If Eubank fights BJS like he did against Spike then it will be even EASIER for BJS as he will have more opening's to counter, when BJS is fresh in the first half of the fight he will take Eubank to school again and he will close the show better next time too.
I'm sorry Finn but this is a ridiculous thread, did you seriously not know BJS had agreed to fight Eubank way before he joined Camp Eddie? He agreed to put his world title shot on the line but Eubank used a pathetic excuse not to fight him (he didn't want to lose his interim title)
I am shocked by how many people thought Eubank looked good against Spike, no world level MW would have took soo many shots from Spike, also his power is massively overrated as he caught Spike clean multiple times but didn't put him down once.
I like Billy Joe , he has confidence but is'nt stupid , i think he was always very confident against Eubank and took it lightly , he is'nt the biggest puncher in the world and does'nt take risks , i do think though that will be his undoing very soon he will let someone steal a fight from him , but it will not be Eubank , I really do think if they met again BJ would be a lot more serious about things and step it up another level with the new found confidence of i'm the champ , impriove on his stamina , which shown the other night they already are and he will beat most around ,, lets see what Eubank can do against Andy Lee ,,, doubt if we will ever see that one .

Do you mean the rematch that was pretend offered after Eubank signed to sky. And the war which was Eubank smashing up a guy BJS went the distance with?
No, the rematch that was offered after they both pulled out of the show in May before Eubank's contract ran out. The war in which Eubank stood toe to toe and was hurt by a man that couldn't touch Saunders for 12 rounds.
Eubank won 6 of the 7 rounds and saw his opponent pulled out to save him from a severe beating. It wasn't a war by any measure.

Saunders is underrated if anything.
I don't think he's either he is a quality fighter. His hand problems have stopped him hitting as hard as he would like and he's been lazy and not made the right sacrifices to sort out his stamina issues in the past. You could tell he took the Lee fight seriously because he was in career best shape. He's proved he is above domestic and European level, he now needs to prove he is a genuine world class fighter rather than a fringe world class fighter that won a belt.
allegedly says they are in talks with golovkin for a summer fight and an offer has been made to BJS. I personally would be looking to go the Jacobs route and gain more experience but fair play if they strike while the iron is hot. If BJS sorts out his engine properly he may well be able box on the back foot and counter for the 12 rounds.

On what planet is he a big puncher? When does he ever lay anyone out? When has he ever floored anyone above journeyman level? He can't punch. He's a good fighter, but he can't punch at any level above journeyman. I don't think he's a big puncher even at domestic level.

Quiet clearly on your planet he is not. You need to know the difference between " can't punch " and " big puncher "
Eubank is a solid puncher but is not a power puncher or a one punch banger. He has pretty good timing and is strong and gets a bit of leverage but he's seems a strong arm puncher. When you look at a proper power puncher then you see the difference. At world level he won't be knocking anyone over or out.
I think its more of a case of waiting for the right time for the rematch, Saunders has just won his first world title, he'll want to get a couple of title defences out of the way first and Eubanks is moving in the right direction towards getting a world title himself.
Saunders vs Eubanks jr 2 is going to happen but with the WBO and the WBA world title (eubanks jr currently ranked #2 by the WBA) on the line as well
Best of luck to both of them though it looks like a big show about not much; Golovkin is clearly the best middleweight in the world and neither man will rush to test theirselves against him.

Because as a world titlist they do claim to be the best at the weight? I appreciate your point though the public is fooled in this way.

True, in the older days, they would be just one champion for each division, now you have A level fighters, B level fighters and C Level fighters all at world championship level, the A level ones are the Mayweather, Alverez, Golokin, Cotto, Ward type fighters, Saunders is C level at present.
