Getting caught with that IV and then double backing with the testing agency's assistance to get approval after the fact has to call his whole career and years of victories into question. As a Floyd fan, you tried hard to minimize and legitimize it but you failed. You tried hard but never got close.

We'd go back and forth trying to find a way in which we could conceive this opponent beating Floyd. It was never Floyd's toughest possible opponent but we backed them and got into the fight anyway for the possibilities.

We thought "any given Sunday" and anything could happen. But we never realized just how tilted the tables were in Floyd's favor in multiple ways. It was almost impossible for Floyd to lose now that we look back at it. The only way he could lose is by knockout...that's the only possible way. And it showed in Floyd's style in the ring and his focus on avoiding action.

I think that's why people are so easily forgetting your boy.
