Selby v Edwards looming
Charlie Edwards fighting a British title eliminator v Luke Wilton and Selby v Iain Butcher ordered as another eliminator with the two winners facing off afterwards.
Re: Selby v Edwards looming
Why not make one of those fights for the vacant title and the other a final eliminator?

The board made wilton v butcher for vacant title but the fight never happened. Fw won purse bid. This way numerous promotional companies have interest

He's hardly fighting so think we may have to put up with that for a while.Energizer wrote:An Prince Patel's ridicule for being an awful boxer is looming too

Re: Selby v Edwards looming
Great great fight.
Selby looks unreal and I reckon Edwards is the best of the rest.
So good to have competitive fights as far down as flyweight again.
Be interesting to see when the winner catches Satchell up.
He needs a big fight this year.

Re: Selby v Edwards looming
Due to there not being great depth in the flyweight division, it would be far better for that weight class to match Selby and Edwards for the British title and the winner just start defending against the others & re-matching where worth while to keep the British title active . It would put the 8st men under a greater spotlight which, God knows, they deserve.
