Impractical Asshole is going to say you're being racist for this post towards Vitaly because his skin is white.

I'm sick and tired of this dogmatic BS from both sides on the LL-Vit fight. I am a fan of both of these great HWs and I believe they are fans of each other. It was a close fight that had to be stopped because of Vit's horrible cuts. No one knows who would have won had there been no cuts or less significant ones. I repeat no one knows who would have won if....

Ahhh yes someone so blinded by either racism or homosexual feelings that he starts using profanities and accusing others of trolling. Take a look at the precious fight and perhaps the truth will be revealed to you.... or perhaps it would hurt too much? Maybe it's better to just fill in the gaps with imagination and believe what you want?
I had Vitali up at the time of the stoppage. But, was happy that Lewis got the stoppage.

It was evident that Lewis was at the end of his career in that fight. He looked like crap. Little doubt in my mind that a prime Lewis would have dismantled Vitali in a much more determining fashion, as I feel LL is one of the best HWs of all time.

RandomUsername wrote:Lewis won.

Vitaly landed one punch in the first round after that all Vitaly did was try to throw a high volume of punches to keep Lewis off of him. Throwing such a high volume of BS punches depleted Vitaly's stamina, in the final round you could see that Vitaly was out of stamina, Lewis was starting to connect more easily with more punches and harder punches.

"No one knows who would have won".... Lewis won, it's on Boxrec, look it up.

Had the fight gone on then Wladimir would have had to fend of for himself in the post Lewis era, Lewis was effing his brother up in there.
""No one knows who would have won had there been no cuts or less significant ones."" Please read the whole sentence, but to clarify I edited by last sentence to "No one knows who would have won if....."

Lewis rightfully won. Cuts caused by punches.

ESB used to racist but now it seems the least racist boxing forum, however it has many trolls there.

Whereas this Boxrec forum is still stuck in the 00s with too many racist black yanks who only want to support/praise black boxers.

The bottom line is Lennox stopped him and won that fight, it doesn't matter what would've happened had it gone on, as you stated us none of us know.

I went to the Lewis Klitschko fight at Staples Center. When the fight was over just about everyone in the arena booed. They booed Lewis and cheered Klitschko..

Klitschko was definitely in the fight and was winning it. But lost on cuts. That eye was bad. Good thing for Lewis because he definitely lost a step. That's why Lewis retired rather than face Klitschko again.

Oh ya Klitschko's ring music was Hotel California Eagles song.

Yet the Boxing life goes on..what can you do...next...

I still do not understand the bitching about the fight being stopped and acting like Klit was a mile ahead.
I scored the 1st 2nd and 4th for Klit
I scored the 3rd 5th and 6th for Lewis
57-57
If the fight would of gone on the cut could of caused permanent damage to Kilt.
Fair stoppage

Fair stoppage
It was a fair stoppage. Klitschko was the underdog and crowd favorite. It's no different than any other close fight gets stopped. How many times has one seen,The fighter who gets stopped complains giving the impression he can fight on. Crowd gets disappointed and boos the winner. Cheers the loser.

57-57 even, or 4 rounds to 2 the fight was close. It sure appeared to me watching it live Lewis was fighting Klitschko's fight.

IMO, there are 3 different types of Trump supporters.

1) People who believe everything he says and don't question why a guy only interested in fame, money, and women now all of a sudden happens to be concerned with illegal immigration and Islam.

2) People who view news and politics as solely another form of entertainment.

3) People who aren't really supporters but view him as a one man GOP wrecking crew.

i think they all have one thing in common:
lack of brains. it is utterly irresponsible to
give him a shot at the most powerful job in
the world. there is no excuse for this. the
GOP has turned into a joke, and a bad one.

Only a few years ago Trump was liberal-to-moderate on virtually every issue. Do people think he suddenly just changed his mind on all these issues?

Yes, the GOP has turned into a joke, and he has purposely? helped them along.

What, exactly, are they supposed to do about it? He has every right to run for POTUS. He has a significant following.

What would happen if the GOP kicked him out of the party tomorrow? They lose the Oval Office.

Nobody is giving Trump a shot. He is taking it. He is hitting all the right notes and chords to be the deciding factor in the race, if not the winner.

We can't just call timeout, scrap (what remains of) the Constitution and kick Trump out of the race because you think people considering a vote for Trump are "utterly irresponsible." If he manages to get enough "utterly irresponsible" votes, he still has the legislative and judicial branches to deal with as well as the individual states.

I suggest that you enjoy the show.

. . . and this thread should be moved to Offal Topic.

it is seriously frightening that someone can
ask this question. trump and obama are as
far apart intellectually and in terms of personal
integrity as you can possibly be. donald trump
first lacks the brains for this job. and second
he is a ruthless billionaire who has an ego so
big it has become the joke of new york architecture.
you want to give this man the nuclear codes?
sounds like a mel brooks script to me.

the GOP has an agenda so radically against
everyday americans it needed to go in bed with
with extreme groups like christian fundamentalists
and the tea party to get elected and now they are
in a terrible place, cause real honest conservatives
have no way to get things out from there. the
electorate is pissed with "washington", mainly
because the GOP with their block-everything
approach has made the system dysfunctional,
not even shying away from government shut down.
so the naive man on the street sees the GOP on
one hand as the saviour of american values, due
to the propaganda machine that marks obama
as a socialist. (which is funny, cause in europe he
would be seen rather as a free market defender.)
but they see it is not working because of "politics"
and now they turn to the "outsider" to save the
day. that they choose a billionaire of all people
is the biggest irony in all this.

there is one reasonable name on the table and
that is marko rubio, but of course he is too
reasonable for the GOP base.

trump tower versus patin's palace, this would
actually be proof we are living in a film script.
