Stuart Hall Vs Rodrigo Guerrero
Read that this was almost a done deal...WOW! This one has fire works written all over it and really could be a FOTY contender.
If you've never seen Guerrero watch his fight with Daniel Rosas.

Re: Stuart Hall Vs Rodrigo Guerrero
I think Guerrero Vs Hall is close to a 50-50 fight, Hall probably gets the decision at home in an all out war. Haskins likely beats the Mexican but has his scary moments down the stretch

Typical IBF. Since losing two fights in a row for their title, and a draw for it in the fight before that, Hall has beaten three journeymen on points. Now he gets a final eliminator.

There's nothing wrong with Hall being given a final eliminator shot.expe wrote:Typical IBF. Since losing two fights in a row for their title, and a draw for it in the fight before that, Hall has beaten three journeymen on points. Now he gets a final eliminator.
It's not as if he's just been handed the mandatory status.

I get that--& I do concur that the IBF are morons when it comes to recycling mandatories & have even expounded on it in print before--but Guerrero's the livest body Hall's faced (Caballero aside, natch) since Haskins.
I defy anyone to watch this & tell me that Stuie Hall versus the victor won't be a compelling, bloody hard fight:

Plus, the kiddie who lost that (Rosas), was gifted a shot at the WBO title straight after. I know two wrongs don't make a right & I took the piss something chronic during Stuie's reign, but Hall won my enduring goodwill brawling Caballero & Guerrero's like the epitome of the hard done-by hard-nut.
Can't miss TV imo.

Re: Stuart Hall Vs Rodrigo Guerrero
Stuart Hall is not the same fighter that Haskins beat that night that even the Haskins fans thought that Haskins had lost, his boxing ability is way better now and Haskins is afraid to get into a war with Stuart. As for the last two fights you try sitting in a changing room gloved up for most of the night because they keep changing the time of your fight an then come out and put on a brilliant fight when most of the fans have gone and the press are packing up around you.
Re: Stuart Hall Vs Rodrigo Guerrero
Can't believe how slow Guerrero punches, caballero punched twice as fast and moved twice as fast and tried to trade with Stuart and had to be told to stop mixing with Stuart as he would loose if he continued to, his manager and corner were panicking so caballero fought at distance punching arms and gloves for the second half.Counter-puncher wrote:Fkin war, war, WAAAAAAARRRRR LATINO BANTAMS, RAAAAAAAAAAWWWWGH!Datsue wrote:I defy anyone to watch this & tell me that Stuie Hall versus the victor won't be a compelling, bloody hard fight:Naandrew wrote:
