Posters being a division classification
Posters being a division classification
Anybody know what the reasoning is behind this? I thought it was based on number of posts but I saw somebody with far more than me being classified as a Flyweight while I show up as Welter.

based on when you joined
Re: Posters being a division classification
Nope, doesn't seem to be. Have a look at any thread, older joining date does not equate to a higher division weight.

I'm classed as a middleweight, I look on the forum everyday but I hardly post anything nowadays.

Posted just to see what division I`m in ..
Re: Posters being a division classification
It would make more sense if based on number of posts. But then again, you generally put on weight with age. So maybe they're right.
Re: Posters being a division classification
Couple of stone to go if I'm going to make super-welterweight. (And a shame to see Boxrec following everyone else on that terminology - I'd far prefer to be a light-middleweight.)

Been on a bit of a health kick myself lately. Cut the old booze down a fair bit.
We'll have to do this much meetup one of these days, I'm in the Netherlands in a couple of weeks, but only on a 12 hour layover on the way to Rio so won't have time to do a trip to Rotterdam I don't think.
Hope all is good with you.

That can't be right. Riddick Blowe dates back to 2002, right when you had to first register to post, and yet he's still only a super middle? In 2001 I recall you could choose to sign in or not, and simply post as a guest, and I'm not sure the forum even existed in 2000.

Maybe I could exhume one. . . . My posts deserve far more respect than they are currently accorded!
