I think they will know that the majority of boxing fans will want to see this fight, it's a very good fight whatever way you look at it.

Unfortunately because of the above I think that Eddie will know he does not have to do much with the undercard, we will get a couple of names who hold a decent rating in the British boxing fans minds, Campbell being one and possibly one other. There will then be the "up and comers" etc.

I love my boxing and of course you can tell by my sentiments that I will buy it, although I have to say, the proposed bill at present is very average under the main event and unfortunately it does kind of look now that Eddie can do almost whatever he wants to because Sky have let this be announced without being able to put another "very good" fight alongside it.

Sadly it feels as if this could be the way of the future, not sure how many of these PPV's we will actually get this year but I am thinking at least 4 and possibly 5.

You're probably right. To an extent Frampton may already have crossed over in Ireland but even if he wins spectacularly the awareness of him in the UK will only be a small fraction of that once enjoyed by McGuigan.

Plus there was never any doubt this fight would be PPV, so no need to announce the fact early.

This a true box office fight. I'm pleased it's actually happening more than anything.

Be nice if there is a great undercard, but the reality is that this is always about the headliner.

Its only a true box office fight because we never put our best boxers in against each other in 50-50 fights. I thought Groves Degale was a bigger deal than this when it happened.

The winner of this will probably go over to the US for what should be a genuine box office fight against Rigondeaux and iced in 5 rounds on sky sports 3 at 5 in the morning.

I can't really imagine Rigondeaux 'icing' anyone even half decent.

Frampton also carries enough power to be respected, has the edge on speed, and also offers better footwork and variety of shots. Quiggs Physical attributes and size will be his big plus point for me.

Both fighters to touch the canvas is a good bet to take in this one i think.
