Yes, it is worth remembering that Fury did almost nothing himself, it was a dire fight, however, he did always look in control, whereas Wlad looked totally gunshy and hapless. That and the fact Wlad landed almost nothing of any consequence was the difference.stujones wrote:Yes I do - when I first saw the fight I thought - Fury has his number, he'll beat him again. I had it MUCH closer on a viewing a week or so later (still Fury, but not by a lot).... Remember Sky's card was odd also, Glenn had it all on the last round and gave that round to Fury - just so he can say Fury was the winner. There was no way Fury won the last round.ALI wrote:Well, most bookies have them level at 10/11, but Victor Chandler and William Hill both make Wlad a very slight favourite at 4/5 with Fury at 11/10.
This has surprised me, Fury has to be favoured in my book, even though it would be hard for Wlad to put in a worse performance than he did first time around i still think Fury is the one who can, and most likely will, improve on his performance.
Anyone else make Wlad favourite to win the rematch, or have it a 50/50 fight?
Anyway - I think in Germany, Fury might well improve on his performance.... I don't think Klitchsko can do anything else other than improve. So I think Klitchsko, might be controvesial, might be a robbery - but there wasn't a great deal in fight 1.
I just think Wlad, unless he WAS really out of sorts coming into the fight, is a busted flush against Fury, and he also showed his age a little bit against someone who was quick enough to expose his lack of mobility.
We shall see, but I think I'll have a punt on Fury winning by KO late doors, I've got a sneaking suspicion Wlad might quit during the fight or his corner pull him out.
