Its been in decline since the depatures of Lennox Lewis, Holyfield and Tyson. There are a few interesting guys out there and we have one whos a bit of a loose cannon but entertaining to watch outside the ring but hopefully within the next 18 months a few heavies could break through and give us something to talk about.

I dont really know why another Mike Tyson has not emerged whos knocking the fcuk out of everyone and making waves big style. I think that possibly sportman have changed and we are into another era of sporting people. I dont think its boxing that has suffered in this there are many sports that the personalities have gone by many a year.

I think the heavyweight division is one of the best now.

I'm looking forward to see how Wilder progresses when he eventually meets someone worthy of a title shot. I'd love to see him in with Fury.

Looking forward to the Fury/Klit rematch, although the first fight was dreadful it was still exciting having a Brit in a HW world title fight. I'd love Fury to win and then box Wilder.

Haye coming back is interesting, a fight between him and AJ would sell amazingly well and never mind Dave....it could be on BBC 1 or ITV and do huge numbers (It won't of course. It'll be another £17er)

Most of all I like the look of this Ortiz. He looks very good. He's got some real class.

Povetkin looks pretty good right now and will give any world champion a good fight.

Then there is your Lucas Brownes, Jo Parkers, Del-Boy and David Price.....some real good quality in that 2nd/3rd tier.

It isn't as good as Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis and Bowe. That wasn't as good as Ali, Foreman, Frazier. That wasn't as good as Louis, Walcott, Marciano etc

But then again it's always seems that things were better yesterday. Just look at Texans and Toffos and compare them to the sweets of today!

i'm with you a 100 percent on texan bars and think you are showing your age ( and mine lol ) , but don't agree that Price and Chisora are second tier ( if that's world level ?) and agree with the title of the thread, it really is an all time low for the heavyweight division
