Sultan's final opponent was Wladimir. The official reason behind his retirement was that he had enough money to last forever.

That's the secret to Briggs success, he eats what the champ eats.

If love to see Briggs in with a big name again.

I'm a huge fan of the ' let's go champ' routine. It's been a great publicity tool, which makes it more surprising he hasn't had a big fight on the back of it.
You'd think at this stage of his career he's more interested in the payday than the money.

There could hardly be a better reason to retire....

...assuming of course you have actually got enough money to last for ever.

That would be SOO good for boxing. If everyone behaved like that then we'd see the following: Tyson Fury would take an easy voluntary defense now and then retire. Anthony Joshua would also just have 4-5 more fights before calling it quits.

We all know the real reason why Sultan called it quits. He was scared of the man with the rasta dreadlocks, the man who had rocked Lennox Lewis.
I'd much rather see more guys retire wealthy if it meant less guys in nursing homes being hand fed.

Erm - I think i'm missing something.
What's the difference between "the payday" and "the money"?

He's a roided fraud and I think he's interested in both

Meant to say payday rather than belts

I prefer the original version.
