22 years .
Intensive grip training side by side with the weights helps a lot.....but in my case drugs were a big factor early on
i went off the rails in my early 20s for various reasons after uni ,wasn't working, wasnt in a good place I took deca durabolin, test, and eca for two and a half years ..the drugs helped a lot in terms in terms of my deadlift but the moodiness on it all was awful and Ive never done it since i got myself cleaned up . Never even been tempted. But yes it does mean I cheated and thus my pb isnt anywhere as impressive as those of you who have lifted naturally.
Anyone deadlifting on here ?

I'm not going to lie, I've thought about doing it when I've hit a plateau...but I just couldn't face the injections and mood swings for an increase in strength. I know lots of folk who are basically addicted to them and I don't think they ever stop using it. I've been told it should be 3 months on 6 months off but they go all the time and it shows in their lifestyle and behaviour at the weekends etc. One guy I know finishes with his bird every month then spends two trying to win her back. He doesn't know if he's coming or going. He's ripped tho
Re: Anyone deadlifting on here ?
There are safer steroids where u wont get mood swings etc, you just have to be able to find and buy legit pharma stuff not the underground crap made in someones bathtub that u generally find the UK. Im sure my drinking and general disposition in those far away days contributed to the mood swings. But im just not willing to try anything anymore just in case .....been 16 years sober!
I have a gym buddy who regularly holidays in Thailand,Turkey,Egypt (before Isis) and picks up legit pharma products .....and he seems happy as Larry. He"s often told me equipoise doesnt have any mood sides ,and is weaker in theory but powerful in the long run for strength.
Who knows maybe one day ill take him up on it
Your lifts are seriously impressive tho tommasino, to get that far natural,im sure you"" break the plateau soon enough.

I doubt it, I've actually sent backwards last few months due to a shoulder injury. I will probs not bench heavy again as I could hardly use my left arm for over a month in November.mugabi wrote:![]()
