The Mexican American who briefly held the IBF Welter title a couple of years back.
As far as I remember he was arrested for not registering as a sex offender because he had sex with his 16 year old girlfriend when he was 18.
This somehow went undetected for over a decade (during which he had a kid as part of an 11 year relationship). He then got deported & that was the last I heard of it.
Is he still not allowed in the US, despite living here since he was 4.
Can anyone fill in the gaps or have an up to date summary. I'm sure I missed something or got something wrong.
By the way, he fights in Guadalupe this weekend.
