Offered Devon Alexander Dec 2013 porter instead took it and won.

A performance then like when he eventually fought Devon a year later would have got him the Floyd fight the following May IMo

The Ramadan excuse doesn't cut it. He could get a special dispensation from his imam as quite a few sportsmen do

It does happen a lot. He's not the only Muslim sportsman around. The 2012 Olympics fell during Ramadan and mo farah wasn't fasting and I doubt any Muslim athlete was. They are generally told to fast at another time or do extra prayer etc to give thanks/praise allah.

I suppose it depends how devout you are. What might be acceptable to Mo Farah may not be to Khan. Each to their own.

I think khan knows how close to having to totally rebuild his career he is. one more defeat especially if it is a KO like Garcia will pretty much end his elite level fights(not had since the Garcia fight)

I would like to see brook v khan. I don't think it is a Wembley filler as unlike froch v groves 2 both are stinking northerners. hearn would be better looking at old Trafford as I could see it filling that if they billed as war of the roses.

It's now turning full circle in to the fact that Khan now needs brook more than brook needs Khan.

It's a shame that khan's career has stalled whilst he hopelessly waited for the Mayweather fight. There are some wonderful fights out there for Khan. I hope he realises that he needs to start taking these and soon as his career is in danger of coming to a halt. At some point he has to put himself in there with someone who can punch.

Khan never wanted to redeem his humiliating loss to Breidis Prescott. Doubt he wants to try Garcia again. He can just go on saying, 'I was winning two-and-a-half-rounds, so I'm obviously better than him.'

I think most would see that as a good move but I'm sure Khan sees himself a level above garcia despite no reasoning for this whatsoever

Khan and Garcia and No 1 and 2 for the WBC title, they don't need WBA super or regular to make that fight.

Notable that Khan is also WBC No 1, WBA No 2, IBF No 4 and WBO No 3 - hardly in no man's land

Brook has to fight his #1 contender before anyone else so Khan really should look at getting his name out there more because of his fights than his challenges to people who have better options than to fight him

No idea who he fights next. I feel like I'm in the minority who actually want to see Khan do well but he really doesn't help himself. Other than the Mayweather fight and the unrealistic Manny fight he has shown literally no desire to get in the ring and fight, only 1 fight last year and just 4 in the last 3 years with none against truly world class fighters. I think someone like Lamont Peterson will be his next fight (unless the Brook fight is finally made).

He's 29 years old & should be in his prime & he should be chasing the big fights against top opponents in the smoking hot welterweight division, but he seems quite content to talk a lot but not actually fight.

Let me get this straight, the WBA are only now thinking about stripping a guy of a title when he retired last year?
